Hi!

Hi Toots! Hi Greeny! Toots are you finally feeling better??

OMG I have one more set of squats but they’re killing me. Wah!

<-distracting myself on here for 2 more minutes

In your honor I did a second set of weighted squats this week Deb! Tues was 5 sets of 5 at 75 lbs. Today’s was 5 sets of 10 at 65 lbs

ooooh I had legs today too. I was freakishly stronger than my last legs day? Only my second time on this routine though.

Whats everyone doing tonight?
I’m going to pretend to pack!

Kay done! Squatting again tomorrow then I take a week off before testing 1RM. I’m a bit afraid of that. I’ve never tested it properly before.

Awesome! How’s your butt feel?

Tonight I realized Toot’s recommendation for stripper music (Goldfrapp Oh la la) makes great squatting music

I have a chicken roasting in the oven that’ll be ready in about 45 mins.

I’m putting together a care package for my college student son in Michigan. This is in addition to the spending money I send every month

Edit: Muh butt feels awesome

aw! ur a good mom!
What do you put in the care package? cookies?

No he wants salty snack foods. I also put the debit card for our new joint bank account and a gas card for the roommate who runs him around town a lot in there. And a card saying I love you (study hard).

I was right! ur an AWESOME MOM.

Thanks Hallowed. I asked him if he’s going to take his girlfriend to my mom’s at Christmas. He said noooo Grandma asks weird questions of the girlfriends. I assured him he would have nothing to worry about since they don’t live together or anything. Was just on the phone with my mom and she laughed and said, oh I’ll just ask her about her studies, where she’s from and if she’s already having sex. I said WHOA…mom, geezzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Now I have to tell my son maybe he should NOT take her there. lol

I guess it was national leg day since I did legs too!

Greeny, one more day and then it’s off to work (training) you go! You must be excited!

buahahaha! AWKWARD.
Thats okay, on my brother’s wedding day my Grandma gave my now sister in law (the bride) some very serious advice “don’t get fat”

So the ladies of TK get the LBWO in on Saturday… awesome.
I do the rest of my training at like five a.m. before work :frowning:

Don’t get fat. Classic. I cannot train at 5 a.m. All I could ever do at that time was easy cardio. I’ve occasionally worked with the former trainer on a Saturday at 11 or 1 and it never worked. I’d be totally weak. Going around 4:30 works great for me. Every person is different, of course. Eh, I have no life so I have nowhere to rush to after work.

Yes! I am very excited!!! I filled out paperwork on Friday and it took over two hours! It wasn’t really paperwork, I had to enter everything into the computer and they had to cut several pieces of hair for drug testing, but it still took over 2 hours! I had to give them the last 20 years (or back to age 18) of work history, last 10 years of residences, bank account info, and any accounts payable (credit cards, student loans, etc) info, criminal history (dui), and tattoo and/or distinguishing mark descriptions. I forgot about the car though since it’s so new so I have to go in early and add that to my application. I also forgot my passport so have to wait until Thursday to get fingerprinted.

The free weights room at my gym is a heinous cluster fuck after work. Two of my days are circuits and there’s no way I could get away with that in a crowded gym. I AM noticably stronger on the weekends when I get a few meals in and plenty of time to wake up pre training. I DO eat my breakfast and down a shit ton of caffeine… then try to get pumped with some uber aggresive music during my activation stuff. Yeah it sucks LOL.
