I’ve been waiting to show you my pic of me and Chris from years ago. If I got any closer I would have been called a stalker!!!

Depending on where they had their money, they may not be a well off as they were 24 months ago, and are ashamed to let it be known they are broke

I was thinking this too. Everyone is taking a hit, even if they are not broke yet. And it could be that one of them is getting chinsy and they can’t agree on what to do.
Great minds, yeah, we think alike
Any closer and you would be a groupie. And there’s nothing wrong with that.

5 plates + a 25? for 14, right? A leetle bit of extra leg english, but it looked good.*

“Get into the Groove” fits too if you turn the vid sound down.

FTR, I’d bet tootles could lift more than Mr. Isaac.

 • unless you meant the video with the rodeo clown, the giraffe, & the bucket of raisins.

Funny part is, that is not what I’m listening to in the video.

was it really 14? I never counted. I was fucking spent afterward though. I can show you the video of not even being able to get 6p+25 off the ground, lol.

Thanks though. I figured I would at least get some ball busting for body English, but I guess its not too bad. Either that or no one logged in yet.

And that fucking clown loved my rasin trick, don’t let that silly bastard tell you any different.

Okay… here is the story. A long-time friend who now lives a 1,000 miles away made an invitation for me and my wife to come see him and his wife over the new year’s for a party they are hosting. They are going to be in town over the xmas holiday but back to their home on NY’s.

We have a tradition of spending new year’s together and in fact spent the last 9 out of 10 together. Here is the wording… “This year XXXX and I are not going to be in XXXX for NY’s. I know this is kind of short notice but we would love for you guys to come down to us.”

Now here is the interesting part…they are extremely wealthy (millions) and we are middle-class and we have been hurting a lot this year and they know this. They have in the past flown us down, treated hotel rooms on common vacations, etc… But it was always a direct mention, not implied. This message does not specifically mention airfare.

I emailed back and said we couldn’t afford it. We have not heard back. My question is are they kicking us to the curb or were they not expecting us to ask for help?

Just bought a $400,000 boat back in July and put $100,000 into it for repairs and transferring from atlantic seaboard to the gulf. Plus, I know his business is doing even better now than a couple of years ago…or at least he tells me.

Usually when rich people start going down like a ton of bricks, they talk themselves up big time and you don’t see it coming until they are knee deep in debt. Just saying.

Or they could be tired of footing the bill. Either way, they should just come out and say what’s going to happen on New Years instead of leaving you hanging.

I am certain their financial strength is fine. Dude has always been extremely afraid of debt. The last mortgage he had was when he was 28 y/o and he paid it off. He can’t abide paying interest on things or taxes. He moved to FL to mainly avoid state tax…that and winter weather. Oh well, I will break down and give him a call shortly.

Thanks for the thoughts.

I guarantee that if I got even close to that weight, I’d be able to keep my legs perfectly stiff, but would be using some sort of lower-back-momentum thrashing to move the weight, so you definitely win on form there.

FTR, I’d bet tootles could lift more than Mr. Isaac.

^ I f’ed up the quote,
basically I wrote that If I were to use the weight you did, I guarantee I’d be keeping my legs perfectly stiff, but would be using some sort of spastic lower-back-momentum thrash to get the weight moving, so you definitely win on form there.
