Good times…
That shit sucks balls, big harry, sweaty balls.

I started some serious shit at work today, because I refused to take the heat for the lazy fuck I have to call a manager. I have 4 other people behind me, so I look pretty good right now. Some times being honest is the best approach.

Feels good man.

But anyway, start working on your resume.

Can we talk about something less depressing, like say Gout?

Sure… Let’s talk about something else.

Ok, my neighbor who lives in the apartment that’s in the unit next to mine, has a dog and it barks, then howls, all the time. It gets pretty annoying at times, and I started to wonder if I should say something.

It rarely happens in the early morning, plus, I usually have a fan going, so that muffles the sound pretty good. But, I often heard it when I knew she was home and I just found it odd that nobody else said anything…

Well, not too long ago, I saw her outside with one of my neighbors and she was very animated when she spoke, then it dawned on me that she was ‘signing’… She’s frigging deaf.

The dog’s barking/howling, as I write this…
Or about my across the hall neighbor who gets drunk and yells at the top of his lungs. It usually goes something like “FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK! FUCK YOU! I DIDN’T FUCKING DO ANYTHING! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? WHERE THE FUCK WERE YOU? FUCK! FUCK! LEAVE ME ALONE! I DIDN’T DO ANYTHING!” And he usually gets locked out of his apartment and yells “FUCK! FUCK! I CAN’T FIND MY KEYS! FUCK! I FUCKING HATE THIS FUCKING PLACE! FUCK!” I never hear anyone talking back to him, so I’ve decided he has alcohol-induced Tourette’s.

Sorry man, I feel that shit.

I had a few weeks where shit got real, real fast. Keep you head up and your nose to the stone. Smash fucking weights and cross your fingers.
Thanks man. It’s hard, anything to take my mind off of it and I feel better. Just fucking strange when it all comes down on you at once and can’t help but feeling helpless for some time.

Glad you chimed in when I needed it. I’m gonna go to town on the oh so pretty Fairtex punching bag at school tomorrow.

Dr. Strange or Dr. Fate?
My heart says Strange, but I’ve heard Dr. Fate is pretty bad ass. And of course DC fans scream about their world having 40 percent more magic than Marvel and their magic is stronger.

Got my nails done today!

This thread is terrible.

Doggie prayer can’t save this thread. Only Tits and Pancakes.

And I expect Hungry to show up and stink this place up with more cat pics. Then counting beans will do the same. And then you and tootles. And then I’ll finally have to kill you all. Red Dragon style.

Let’s try it with the pic this time.

Even God is against Dog pics. I’ll just add him to my list…

And yes, God is a man.

I got to choke a guy at the bar the other night! He didn’t go out, but I scared the shit out of him!

SWEET!!

What did he do to deserve that?

He tried to steal my pizza (drunken post closing time pizza) and then wouldn’t go away. I asked nicely, but then he said even if I yelled no one would come help. Which is just laying down the gauntlet. It’s remarkably easy to choke someone that’s handsy. I don’t feel bad, had I been a guy I would have been justified in hitting him.

That’s fucking hot.
X2

Well then to keep in same universe, how about Spider-man vs Firelord?

There’s been a couple of times where I was told to lie about a couple of minor, stupid, things… but, didn’t. It’s pretty sad when you get penalized for being honest. I agree with you, CB. Integrity is a precious commodity these days in the corporate world.

One the most consistant rumors that have been circulating, is that they will keep our department…for now. We will have the option to be “bought out” or sign an agreement to stay on, but cannot put in any transfers to go to another deparment for six months.

But, they will have the option to let you go within an eighteen month period and receive a severence pay that will depend on how long you’ve been with the company.

I’ll find out tomorrow, when they bring in one of the big guys (who will be escorted with security) to make a formal announcement at 3pm.

Should be interesting, to say the least…

I posted this before, but it sort of reflects the mood at the moment…

Bad Hair Day!!

Firelord, even though Spider-Man did beat him. Was that even legit? Was Spider-Man empowered or something?

It was either the Vancouver Sun or the Globe & Mail that had a front-page listing for the “Vampire workout from Twilight: New Moon.”
cue collective rise in blood pressure on this site in 5,4,3… if whassisface is the new “Brad Pitt in Fight Club”

Legit, if not improbable. Firelord who has always been written pretty much as a hot-head was overconfident and fighting wildly with no strategy. Spidey was using a hit and run strategy using his speed, agility and spider-sense and a whole lot of scared-sh!tless adrenaline.

Best part was when the Avengers showed up after Spidey knocked Firelord out and Spidey was yelling at them for not being there to take care of this. And in the midst of this, Thor, while looking impressed, has a thought balloon saying something along the lines that there is obviously much more to Spider-man than meets the eye since he defeated a herald of Galactus.

Agreed almost always Firelord should win this fight. But you can’t have a B or C character losing to an A character even if technically they should.

If you put it like that, I can understand. Most of the Heralds are soft but have the capacity to destroy universes(Silver Surfer). If Spider man was that scared and fighting for his life, I can imagine him using his full strength and his spider sense to barely survive.

Now if this was Terrax, Spider man would be dead.

Do I want to go lift then take a beginner BJJ class, or go to an advanced BJJ class and deal with ‘tough guys’ as my cardio?

Option 1 wins, my ribs hurt, I don’t want to deal with huge guys sprawling on me.
