So…what’s the latest music trend back there?
HAI beast! The lastest music trend is Zac Brown! LOL.

Thanks Trav. Love the gif in your avi. Too funny. Well Beast you seem to have been able to train, well, like a beast, while there and it sounds like you’ll be headed stateside soon? I can’t help with the music trend thing. I’m sure the guys will have good info for you.

Morning all!

Mornin Deb. Also that was your 3000th post. Hurrah. Also it’s deadlift day today woop woop. Going for a new PR (465 for 10 is the goal). Also I’m ready for halloween.

My fail was: I couldn’t lift the bar off the floor at all. Did that huhhhh sound and nothing moved
Well, rack pulls aren’t going to solve that issue.

If I were you, I would work in the 5-8 rep range from the floor, with whatever volume and ramping scheme you are comfortable with, until the day strikes you that you feel mentally and physically prepared to pull a single. (I would imagine you are at the stage in your lifting career where linear progression still works for you, so take advantage of that and add 2-5lbs to your 5-8RM every week.)

Then carb up and nail the SOB. Maybe pass on your leg workout the week before you try another single.

You can top 185 now, it’s all in your head. Which is a very tough thing to overcome. So take everything in stride and don’t psych yourself out either. You will be fine, you just have to get through a mental blockage. It happens and you’ll be fine in time.

I’ve never planned a single more than a couple days in advance, and mostly it is as I’m getting ready to go to the gym that day. The best ones were when I just decided “fuck it” and tried to power through one spontaneously.

Going to the doctor tomorrow. Hopefully I can get this dang boot off. On the left- das boot. On the right- compression sock.

Morny Morns!

(cant help on the music trend beast I listen to my MP3)

Good workout this morning. Superset day my hardest workout. Um I Single Leg deadlifted, reversed lunged, and BULGARIAN’D. Amongs other more pleasant exercises.

Hungry for Second Breakfast!
(which will not be rabbit food)

Wow you guys get up so early to work out
yawn I guess I should get out of bed to go to the gym as well.

I love your rabbit Hallowed. Pics of her/him (?) make me smile every time.

Hai guyz. Hardly any sleep last night, somehow a stuffy nosed 10mo old was wide awake until about 10pm (3 hours past her bedtime) and then was a cranky-sleepless child until about 12, slept for an hour, then up again freaking out. Rocking, bouncing, talking to, nothing calmed her down until I went outside with her in mah underoos at 2am. Shortly thereafter she slept for 3 hours, and was up again…time to get ready for work Dad!

God I feel like shit right now.

When I kept my mom up all night as a baby, she took me for a ride in the car.

Slept… like a baby? :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks very much Beans. The mental block is definitely true. I got about 5 hours of sleep last night and feel crappy. Last day for this trial and I should be able to relax some.

I’m with you all on the crappy sleep last night. Pup was up crying late and then up early this morning. When I took him out this morning then let him come sleep in the bed with me for another 30 minutes he just proceeded to lick my face and then jump over me every time I rolled over and continue to lick my face. If I put my face in the pillow he’d lick my ears. I never did make it back to sleep.

NIKKI Tanks hon… I lurve mah Bunneh. She is a royal PITA and a very very bad very very expensive bunneh but I luvs her. She IS cute. I mean shit if she wasn’t so freaking cute it woulda been curtains long ago! (i kid i kid)

You must have some small ass windows!!

We’re gonna get a doggy when the hubby gets back! Probably another Beagle that needs a home. Hubs wants to train it to go hunting with him. And son loves Beagles. There pretty good family dogs…I want a lab, but there too big for here.

Interesting training convo a page or so back. I just go in and do what I want. Kinda have a plan when I go in, but no set program…all me brah! haha

I dated a guy whose parents did that to him and his siblings. To this day, if he’s not driving, he falls asleep minutes after a car is in motion. I always made him drive.
