Thanks for the feedback Drew. Glad to hear about my back. Uh, I’m bow legged (is that even a “thing” these days?). My knees are always back like that when I stand. Sorry about your neck! The turtle was something IH posted in here a page or two ago lol You are funny
*Edit: there’s always SOMEone who needs a spankin’

I meant I suck at uploading videos. Hm, squeezing the glutes but not as hard as you are asking I think. Gah I’m so freaked out by form after he critiqued the traditional DL’s. I just moved up to 145s and then added 10 more for the last 3 sets (I was doing 5x5 after a bunch of warm up reps with different weights). Did I even answer your question?
I ask because, IMO, it looks like you are too focused on form, and rushing to lock out, rather than firing your glutes and letting them stand you up. (ie: getting your hips through.) You are standing yourself up with your upper back if that makes any sense.
Rather than look like one fluid motion, you seem like a collection of movements. I think it is a comfort/nervous thing.
You have also freaked yourself out enough to where you are leaving a ton of weight on the floor, as in you’re stronger than you think. BUT don’t rush that. Wait until you are comfortable before you load up.
All in all, your not horrible I don’t think. I see people do 10x times worse everyday and strut around grilling me in the mirror, even though their max is less than my first warm up set, lol.
God I’m a douchebag.
But def ask the other guy. He has more experience than I do, and I could be way off.
Well Nikki I’m so damn short I’m sure they DO look like DL’s until I’m standing all the way up and you can see the pins (?). I think doing knee rack pulls on a shorty like me is funny but I’m doing them!

This is quite interesting because on my traditional DLs a dude from this site told me I was leading with my hips and bringing my chest up second. You’re right about the fluid motion. I know I’m not achieving it. This drives me nuts because the former trainer said I had good form and was that bastard even watching meeeeeeeee…grrrrrrrrr. Yeah I need to just watch a few videos and go practice. Thanks Beans.

Drew how was the interview???
That’s impressive. Those pins were low, I’m not used to seeing people do them that low which is why I was stumped. But don’t pay any attention to my ignorance of exercises
And as a fellow shorty, there are no limitations. I have to get two cinderblocks to do pull ups with, but it doesn’t deter me haha

Thanks for asking. It went good I think. I did a phone interview with GL last week. An interview with the General manager and Head GL recruiter yesterday and another interview with just the General Manager today. It was pretty long and the manager lady ran out of time so I didnt have a chance to get run though a workout. No chances to show off She said I co9uld stay and workout on my own but I ended up leaving since i didnt have my belt/straps with me today Tuesday is Deadlift day after all.

I’ll find out on Friday if I get the job.
Good luck.
I don’t think they’ll put you through all that if you had less than an 80% chance of getting the job.
