Personally i like ramping things alot with a bodybuilding focus overall. Otherwise, for deads i like to vary my percentages and focus on lower rep ranges for either strength or speed/power(1-6). Sometimes i just focus on feel and pumps. I train more instinctively than anything, i’ll have a certain bodypart/s focus, but otherwise not many set in stone things.
I really like it, and TBT. But then it’s what I did as a total newb. Using those two, I went from a size 16 to a 6. I’m about an 8 now but that’s just boyfriend fat, and Ive got a totally different body comp now then the last time I was at this weight/size.
My birthday is Saturday, Dallas and I had stuff planned. Now I think I’m going to end up home alone for most of the weekend, and going to a bachelor party.

See I want to get to that train instinctively place, and I just need more information to draw from. What do you mean by ramping things?
I’m using 5x5 now, it’s working well. Heavy but not unbearable the next day.
Hey do what works for you. I like most all of training types, to me it’s all a tool bag for me to grab from when i want to try something else.
Just read alot of exercise stuff and etc, and know your body well and you would be able to train instinctively as well. I just get bored really easily and find that a week or two in i become bored and want to try something different.
By ramping i mean that i more or less pyramid what i do. I will start out lighter: let’s say my peak set will be 100. I will do 5020ish, then 6012-15ish, then 80*8-12 then 100 for my goal rep range. I will try to progress on that peak set in the oncomming weeks. Depending on the goals. Once i reach say about 10, i will reset the peak set to say 105-115 for example and bump up the lower weights.
So lighter weights built up to peak set. And personally i like to do a back off set for more reps and lighter weight to finish.
Most likely i will not compete in bodybuilding, i hate dieting and cannot go without my weekly burger eatout but i do want to be leaner than i currently am. But i might compete in powerlifting, just need to work on my grip strength and overall strength.
Who knows, i might be hoodwinked into competing in bodybuilding. The show i went to in march was awesome.
Interesting, my birthday is this friday. I’m away from all of my friends and family in a different town for school, so i am in sorta the same boat as you pch.
Grip strength is a whole differen issue. I feel if I work it, I’m useless for evrything snce grip is so vital in everything. Rock climbing and the tire this weekend, made DLs today suck. I did sldl andhad to spend the while time thinking ‘you will not drop this weight’ they were only 35lb dbs but I couldn’t hold onto anymore for a set of 5. So frustrating.
I do live with my brother, so I’m not totally alone, he’s just out of town the weekend.

Oh, I should probably throw in my ‘nice squatting beans,’ it only adds to the e-crush I’ve developed on you.
LOL, thank you, I’m flattered.
Although talking to you and court as prompted Wol to threaten to take away my man card, lol
If you could handle either one of us it would make you ALL man. Don’t worry about Wol. He’s just jealous.
Wol isn’t jealous. Wol is protecting the interest of other dirtbag men like himself by silencing the traitor that is Beans.

Keep telling yourself that beans is just playing Mr. Sensitive for “fallback pussy” in the event that his wife can’t handle the Man-Mountain he’s becoming, and boots his protein fartin’ arse out the door.
I want to compete in bodybuilding, but I need to build way more size and will likely delve into assistance before I start thinking about stepping on stage. That will all come when I’m more settled down though.
Hey I just did 135x40 on high bar after my heavy set just for the heck of it H4M is a beast

Dirtbag you say? DTF?
Speaking of dirtbags and married men, I spoke with married man today. And by spoke with I mean verbally castrated him while not really saying anything that mean and staying entirely calm the whole time. The most entertaining part about all of it is that he can’t bitch/whine to anyone about how big of a bitch I am since he was, afterall, cheating on his wife.

Is there any time and place where you would find cheating, in a relationship, acceptable?
Of course, discounting the times when you have been shackled to another man/woman and really can’t get away from them. I’m so not going out this weekend.
