Be happy to take a look at your equipment, adjust your sensitivity levels, and make sure your parts are well lubed and ready to run hot.

Hey…It’s what I do.

And I can…interpret legal documents for you…wow, that just sounds boring compared to what you can do.

Can I check your briefs?

Ah, there we go! Absolutely.

I am not doing that. You obviously know what you’re doing, I mean, look at your progress so far. I really doubt you need a trainer at this point even. You’re highly motivated and that is what’s importatnt…especially with this trial and error game we’re in.

I tend to think most people are better off without a trainer anyhow. Unless you’re being coached for a competition of some sort, then having a professional guide you along seems like a good idea.

I could be wrong but it seems to me that people are better off getting the concepts right and wrong themselves.

Anyone agree or disagree?[/quote]

I tI toyally agree. Trial and error is the only way to go in my opinion. It’s the reason I fired my trainer and stopped training with my dad. I was getting too fixed in the oly lifting train of thought…when bbing was an idea budding in the back of my head. If I still had a trainer I’d still have a sick set of traps but little delt. lol

I’m moving away from the general population and focusing soley on developing athletes now…specifically starting mobilty sessions at my high school for my old Athletic coordinator…because too many high school athletes waste potential on being strong and not on being able to move.

I hate to say it but for the most part PT’s are worthless. lol

Take a last look around while you all are alive

=)

muhuhahahahahahahaha

It’s great that you are doing that for the athletes. And can I tell you my heart stopped beating for a sec when I read that to mean you were currently in high school. Whew, okay now. I think working with high school athletes would be a great job since their coaches don’t necessarily get all of the aspects that need to be worked. My PT did me a lot of good for getting me started and headed in the right direction. I think they have some use.

If Rock is collecting souls,

I’m safe.

For you all know, Gingers have no souls.

IMO, Cosgrove’s New Rules of Lifting (for Women) is probably money better spent for 80?% of gym-goers than getting a less-than-ideal Personal Trainer (esp the ones who are “certified experts” that have a different goal for you than YOU have for you.)
NROL is pretty vanilla, but the important fundamentals are there. Plus women are encouraged to do the “money lifts” deadlifts, barbell rows, etc, and I think he explains why natural women don’t have to worry about looking like Ronnie or Arnold.

Is there a blood in, blood out-thing with the “thread killer” threads? Do I need to let you guys beat me?

I need to hand in my exam tommorrow. Long live 24-hour exams.
