Nothing, walk the fuck away from that shit storm
Wol - I know with certainty that my friend isn’t just cockblocking.
Beans - that’s what I thought… but just wasn’t sure if I say anything to him. I expect I’ll hear from him at some point… I mean we see each other a few times a week at school. What then? I am not impressed with this guy right now…
I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW!
Have him take you to Red Lobster, order as much Lobster as you can, and when he pays for the check, you say:
“You think this cost you a lot, wait until your divorce”
Court storms out of Red Lobster
Red Lobster?? Fast-food seafood… UGH.
Court: I’d confront him and make it REALLY uncomfortable for him.
I guess my issue with confrontation with this guy in particular - because we are in the same program at school, we know a lot of the same people. The first person I’d told about even going out with him was my friend today. I’m assuming since he’s married he wasn’t exactly telling his classmates about it (my idea too…keeping things under wraps at the beginning. FML). Anything confrontational with him in front of people has the potential to make me look bad too because ‘how didn’t I know he was married?’
Ah, gotcha. That was a knee-jerk reaction. It’s a damn good thing you found out now, though.
Don’t do anything out of blind anger. Stay calm and cool. There’s no reason to make a scene when you set this guy straight.
I would personally listen to Beans. His solutions seem less likely to get you in trouble.
Ha. As crazy/angry as I may sometimes come across on here, I’m actually very level-headed cool even when I’m angry. It’s something I learned from my mother. I’m not a yeller, but I have a very direct, serious tone that is so much “worse” than yelling (or so I’ve been told). Apparently my tone conveys anger and disappointment very well and it makes people feel like they did the worst thing imaginable. Which, in this case, what he did is really fucking bad.
I feel like I’m in a soap opera. I fucking hate drama.

I believe you’re calm. I just don’t want you taking bad advice and turning a simple situation into a shit storm.
I watched supersize me for the first time and got really hungry, so i went to wendy’s and got 2 junior bacons, 1 double stack, 5 piece nuggets, and a large frosty. Came to right around 1600 calories.
i tried to explain to my friend about how we aren’t really destroying the planet, we’re simply changing it. Much like a chemical reaction transforming a compound, or dry ice sublimating into steam. I told him you can’t stay constant forever. The universe is not constant.
The matter that makes up my very body was there from the beginning. The matter that makes up my very body is as old as the universe. It has been formed and changed billions of times over, and it will continue to exist indefinitely, making me immortal.
Court- is this one of your military guys? Run, run far far away!
I didn’t start in the gym until the hubby and I were together for about 2 years. I didn’t know I would get hooked like I did. He understands it’s important to me. Just like I understand hunting and watching football is important to him. There is an acceptance.
As far as having a trainer in the gym or not, well, being a trainer myself, my goal is to get people on the right track. Show them meaningful things and how to do it safely and correctly. My hopes is that after a few sessions they will be off on there own! Unlike the really popular trainer that has people doing useless, really hard stupid things that make them feel like they can’t work out without her. grrr
Oh and my kiddo popped a fever out of nowhere last night, so I get to lift this evening. Busiest gym day of the whole week…Maybe I’ll WOW them all since it’s Dead lifting day
