Chef - Watched it on Netflix. IMO a really good movie. I enjoyed the story and the theme, the father/son tale woven in is amazing. Solid acting, good script with some timely humor.

300 Rise of and Empire… Lame… I’ve come close to watching it many times and finally did.
The stylized blood splattering… smh
One of the actors has a glass eye and they even CGI’d that to move. I swear at one point I saw Eva Green’s nipples follow me menacingly around the room.
That’d be a great way to be menaced.
Her tits deserve a solo movie.
^ she shows her tits a hole bunch in Sin City a dame to kill for & she gets pounded a few times
If yall like dark meat check out Trance with Rosario Dawson she shows everything even her shaved puss a few times. Best Beev award IMO

Kingsman. Highly recommended and a very fun movie to watch. Some of the stuff was cheezy and over the top, but still very entertaining. The church scene was just plain awesome.

Agreed. A highly entertaining, mad alchemy of Men In Black (sans aliens), Kick-Ass and classic Bond films. Colin Firth should brace himself for the deluge of action movie scripts about to land on his doormat.

Watched Maze Runner. To be honest I really enjoyed it, great concept for the end.
Same here, really liked Maze Runner.
Saw American Sniper and Kingsman. Both were above average movies and entertaining enough but I feel they were overrated.

I agree. It was great to see him in a role like this. I still can’t get over that scene with him in the Church. It had me laughing so hard. It reminded me of what Tarantino did in Kill Bill when she was fighting that whole gang.

The pub brawl set the bar high (no pun intended), but the church scene genuinely made my jaw drop. The 1812 Overture was mind-blowing.
Jupiter Ascending - Phantom Menace level sci-fi. A series of repetitive sets-pieces tied together with nonsense about galactic corporations seeding planets with intelligent life to cultivate an elixir of youth – think an evil Olay with a product that actually works-- and ‘genetic destiny’; the latter being a core theme in Cloud Atlas. Can’t help thinking that it’s influenced on some level by Lana (formerly Larry) Wachowski’s life-choices.
Eddie Redmayne’s preening space-twat alternates between throaty whispers and larynx destroying shit fits even though we are told that Channing Tatum’s albino wolf/ man hybrid tore his throat out prior to the start of the movie.
Far too many influences in the mix for any one idea to make a lasting impression.

Everything these two have done has been steaming piles including the origianl matrix, which was just rehashed shite that had been done better(blade did bullet time before matrix just saying).

This looks absolutely horrible. I enjoyed the first Matrix, but they completely stole all of the major (and most of the minor) ideas from the comic “The Invisibles”. Part 2 was unwatchabley bad, and after that I vowed to never watch one of their movies again. How they keep getting hundreds of millions of dollars (reread that for emphasis) to make unwatchable garbage blows my mind.

“Chef”
Written and directed, (and starring) Jon Favreau.
One of the most entertaining films I’ve seen in years!
The cast was great and the food prep shots were utterly mouthwatering!
HIGHLY recommended!

I almost watched this not too long ago, but decided against it. I’ll have to pull it out this weekend.

Definitely, but if you’re cutting, you may not want to. I had to stuff my face after watching!
I watched Whiplash last night. J.K. Rowlings character had me cracking up with the insults he threw at his students. He did a really good job at making you hate his character. I really enjoyed the movie. The music was top notch.
