Lol pretty sure ebomb’s arms are around 17.5-18"…
haha LOL! I’m literally ecstatic to start my gaining phase tomorrow and catch up with all y’all freaks n’ geeks
This is exciting for many reasons - you track your progress really well (measurements, nutrition quantities, videos), you’re being coached by one of the best in the business (taking nothing away from your talent), and you’re taking this from just a hobby to the real deal. This will be great to witness.

5 pounds of porterhouse steak, 5 pounds of top round, 3 pounds chicken breast, 24 omega 3 eggs, 2 egg white cartons, 15 yams, quick oats, and fage Greek yogurt. Some other misc stuff was in there too.

Thanks!!
Im gonna really give this my all and put everything I have into it. I’m hoping to just learn as much as I can and put myself in the best position to do well.
Gonna be awesome following your progress Evan! Very jelly of your arm shape/muscle attatchments (and obv. size in general).
Jelly that you can afford to buy porterhouses. haha. On rare occasion I’ll splurge on a NY strip when grilling, but other than that I have to avoid steak for the sake of my wallet.
Not sure how strict you’re gonna be on seasonings at the beginning, but if you’re eating a lot of beef,
try using:
Famous Dave’s Steak and Burger seasoning in combo with
Weber Chicago style Steak Seasoning.
Literally the best seasoning combo I’ve found for steak and hamburger
(and like $6 for enough to season 20+lbs of meat liberally)
(I used to work in a kitchen as the grill cook too haha)
If you can find it in a store near you, it’s worth trying.

Thanks bro!
The porterhouses were a special occasion, only $9.99/lb tho so not too bad.
Ill definitely look into those seasoning, anything to make the food taste better without calories is great in my book!
hey, been following this site for years now but never bothered signing up. Im 205lbs at about 13% right now, aiming to get to single figure bodyfat at a similar weight over the next 6 months.
Im a bit late with following your journal, but ive tried to read through a majoritie of it over the last few weeks.
All i can say is truely amazing progress, a real inspiration!
I have a question for you, regarding going to failure on your sets. What are your thoughts to this subject. Ive been training for around 4 years now and the up until about a year ago I used to go to failure on every set. Nowadays, I generally only hit failure on my pump/hypertrophy sets (8 reps or above).
Also what are your thoughts to the frequency with which you should be hitting the muscles? Im currently on cutting calories and am struggling to hit the muscle more than once every 6 days, as I feel im not properly recovered, but am not sure how much of this is me mentally restricting myself rather than physically.
Thanks

I love that superset, really hits the delt in it’s entirety.
Yeah man, its awesome! How many times per week are you going to be training for your contest prep?

I’ll be utilizing the same 5 day split that I am using now, so it looks like:
Arms
Legs
Rest
Chest/triceps
Back/biceps
Shoulders/traps
Calves are in there twice/week and forearms are also thrown in there.
