You could always do deadlifts on back day…

Just a thought : ).
It is certainly a thought I’m considering strongly… either deads or rack pulls
Definitely a thing to consider.

Evan, according to the article on the main page you don’t even need weights to get the swole. Maybe you should stop lifting?

Amazing overall back/biceps day. Pulldowns and DY rows felt strong and I got a sick back pump from the pulldowns. The deadlift was very strong, was surprised by the fact that I was able to easily pull 605 with no straps despite not pulling strapless in well over a year. I think I’m good for at least 615 maybe 620-630.

Overall, fantastic day.

Quick Question:

I’m a pretty happy-go-lucky guy, usually light hearted and all that sheeeet. But, when dieting, I turn into a grouchy dick bag. Do you notice mood swings, anger, depression - any of that? Or are you perfect across the board?

Lol…no mood swings for me, except the occasional throwing of chairs/misc furniture across the room.

But really, I haven’t experienced any real irritability. Obviously when you simply can’t eat as much as you’d like, you may find that irritable, but IMO, it doesn’t really have to translate into one having actual mood swings or irritability.

Excellent session Evan, assuming you went with singles as a one off just to see how far you could go without straps? 605 is an amazing achievement especially when dieting… 3x bodyweight = pretty damn awesome.

Normally, on your heaviest sets of deadlifts/rack pulls would it be with double overhand and straps? Assuming so and also assuming this “all raw” deadlift is done with mixed grip? Unless you just have superman-like grip powers, in which case… im jealous.

ps. wish you’d got vid :frowning:

Oh damn. Epic pull. Looks like you could break another 20-30lbs off the floor for sure as you were quick for the first 2/3 of the lift!

You are too nasty

Disgusting. Amazing. Holy.

That must’ve been cocaine all over your hands. How else could someone like 6 weeks out have enough in them to pull 3x BW?

inspiring, as always, Mr. Natty Freak.

inspiring lifting as usual…

Hey bro, just started an ‘ethics’ thread in the GAL forum. Get in there!

Lol, thanks guys : ).

Very quick delt day. My roomate came back last night around 1:30 with a girl and I, stupidly, didn’t go out on the couch till around 3:30 where I was able to get a whopping 30 min of sleep…had to train early today as I am going home and getting virtually no sleep didn’t help the fact that I needed to be up at 4:30…btw, took it easy with the weights (surely wasn’t going for any PRs today) and just got a nice pump in with a good amount of volume.

Update pics to come this weekend.

Not many guys would still put in the work on 30 minutes sleep… seperates the men from the boys!

If you need some privacy amidst crazy roommates:

Lolol, appreciate the vids guys, that’s pretty much how it went down.

Fantastic arm session. I really like incline CGBP, I feel it a lot more in my triceps than both flat and decline…def a keeper. Today it really struck me that in the past 6 months, my intense focus on bringing my arms up has really paid off. For real, today was the first time I looked in the mirror at my arms and was happy with what I saw. Obviously im not saying Im God’s gift to arm development (at all), that’s for KingBeef : ), but I am just happy with my progress and now know what I have to do to bring my arms to the next level after this show.

Legs tomorrow…get excited for some crazy stuff.

Evan, anything less that mutant status from your training would concern me.
