First time posting but I have been lurking for a while. To keep things short, I have been on TRT for about a year now. My doc has finally nailed my T dosage to where I finally feel great. However, I complained about my nipples itching so we ran another lab.
T is at 636ng/dl (Yea!)
Estradiol is at 53pg/ml (Booooo!)
The doc gave me 3 options:
lower my T dosage (I really don’t want to do this because I finally feel normal)
Take Arimidex (my insurance won’t cover it and it’s $400 a moth from the pharma. I can’t afford it)
wait it out and hope they are not any negative side effects
What can I do to lower these E2 levels without lowering my T dosage? Any ideas??
You can buy liquid arimidex that is sold for “research” purposes. It is about $15 per bottle, and it will last you several months on 1 mg per week. I have used both prescribed pills and research liquid and they are equal in effectiveness.
You can also buy generic anastrozole which is much cheaper.
Lowering your dose enough to get E2 levels down in acceptable range isn’t a good option. You could bring it down, but you’d also probably drop your T levels pretty low, reducing the purpose of the TRT. What protocol are you using for injections?
Source some RC arimidex on your own. It more than likely won’t just go away, and waiting it out can lead to gyno.
Where the heck are you getting rc arimidex for $15? I’m paying $60. PM me please.
I just checked my last invoice. I paid $22.95 for 30ml of 1mg/ml Anastrozole. So, I was a little off when I said $15 per bottle. Still… It’s better than $60 unless you are buying a larger bottle or higher concentration.
