Well what i mean is i usually only go for like dosages half that of this cycle… what i need to know is will the side effects outweigh the benefits??? i hope that makes sense if not let me know and i’ll try to be clearer…thanks
At those doses you should still get great results. I know some people claim to get just as good results from 500mg/wk test versus 1000mg/wk. Similar with deca, many say over 400mg/wk and they don’t see any additional gains, but the side effects increase.
With your doses you should still see better gains than a dose smaller would give (500mg test, 400mg EQ), but anything over what you’re planning to do and it would probably be overkill. The only real answer to your question is to try it out. Everyone is different.
what kind of gains did you get with the lower doses? I’ve tried the range and find that when you balance the gains with the side effects, I like a lower dose for a longer time. A dose range of up to a gram is the max for me but the cycle runs for around six months. but everyone is different and respond differently. if it were me I would bring the dose down to around a gram and take it longer than 12 weeks.

With my previous cycles my gains were not to great… i mean i gained a maximum of 5kg over a 12 week cycle… compared to the 10-12kg gains of my training partner who was on lower dosages with a shit diet… my diet is almost bang on but i do have a fast metabolism… so if i lowered the dosage to say 500mg enanthate and 400mg EQ P/W for say a 16 week period would this be better??
I’ve been told again and again that EQ doses should be about 2mg/pound of body weight. In my experience, however limited, unless you weight 300 pounds, 600 mg/wk of EQ is a little high.
Id probably run 500/wk test and 400/wk eq. Then again, I weight 210 lbs.

It’s all about making steady gains and keeping them. The dosage sounds good and 16 weeks is okay but I would go a little longer. Also, if you have a fast metabolism, diet plays a big part in the gains you will make on cycle. When you say your diet is on, hopefully you mean that you are eating to gain mass- lots of protein and complex carbs.
while on cycle, I up my protein to at least 2grams per pound of bodyweight. Don’t be afraid to gets some fat in you too. you can’t eat too lean while “on” and expect to make big gains.
Thanks for the input guys (and girls if their any on here…lol)… i have one other query i’ve been told that if HCG is taken along with a cycle that it prevents the testies (the boys down below) from shrinking… so is this true or is it just one of those myths??? would be great if it is true…

Not a myth. Some people do take HCG while “on” a cycle in the attempt to keep natural production going. There is a poster on this board (MedPro) who is doing exactly that (the thread is called “New to Gear and what I have gained”).
Really I think it boils down to personal preference - on a mild cycle which is shorter in duration, it may not be necessary. I would continue to research it and come up with your own conclusion…(or alternatively have it on-hand and at the first sign of shrinkage, incorporate it into your dosing schedule).
I would definitely want to have all of this straight in my head and everything I thought I might want on-hand before I began.

I personally have done just what you were asking in your above question. One cycle i ran 500/400 mgs a week of Enan/eq and on a second one i ran 750/600. As far as my weight gains…almost identical, about 25lbs. each time.
However, when I was running the higher dosages I DEFINATELY noticed a major difference in my strength. With my weight gains being equal, I was about 50-60lbs stronger on all my core lifts (bench, deads, etc.). I also did notice much more oily skin and a bit more of a temper. that was about it though, no extreme breakouts or anything.

Thanks for that… i think i gonna stick to 500 and 400 but for like 16 weeks still abit confused with this HCG because the dosages are not measured in mg but UI or something!!! i gonna read more on it and get back to you guys with what i find… Thanks for your help everyone…
if you are doing HCG during your cycle read up on it to make sure your doses are on. If you use a small amount it will keep your boys going. if you use too much it will desensitize them and they will shut down on you post cycle.
