Epistane Log

Started running Epistane yesterday at 30mg/day for 30 days.
I have Nolva for PCT.
Milk Thistle and Red Rice Yeast Extract for cycle plus PCT
Omega 3
ZMA/Tribulus
and Glucosamine Sulphate, Taurine and Electrolytes on standby for Joints/Cramps.

Day 1: 1st March 2010
Rack pulls 160kg x 5 for my last 2 of 5 working sets seemed easy. Very Pumped up and strong for the rest of the back workout
Body Weight 81kg

Day 2: 2nd March
Decline Bench 100kg x 5, felt good, but not that strong throughout the workout. Very good pump, and still had energy after FST-7 flyes.
Body Weight 81.5kg

Should probably add a few details:
Goals are to gain some lean muscle mass and get my arms past 16".
PBs are as below, which I did these at a weight of close to 90kg.
Bench: 105 x 5
Deadlift: 180
Squat: 125 x 5
I haven’t been lifting that heavy recently so it would be good to beat some of those lifts whilst keeping lean, additionally I did Tim Henrique’s Valeria over Christmas, and would like to beat my time for that. I will update this every few days, I’m putting it together in word.

Day 3
AM: Kettlebells, Cardio and Abs â?? New exercises for the kettlebells, but wasnâ??t overly challenging will up the intensity next time. I was much more pumped up for cardio (possibly due to the girl on the x-trainer) and left the gym feeling I could do more and looking forward to training again, seems to be the theme of most workouts.
PM: Rugby training, hugely fired up, big hits â?? shattered for the whole evening!
Bodyweight 81kg at the start 81.5kg at the end (de-hydrated in the morning)

Day 4
After deciding to take a day of rest, I changed my mind. Got 23 reps over 5 sets on 130kg deadlift, a huge improvement from 18 reps on 120kg last week, also upped the reps on lunges and weight on reverse hypers. A lot heavier today and looking/feeling very bloated â?? water/sodium/carb retention from yesterdayâ??s huge McDonalds? Tomorrow is going to be a low carb high protein day to get the diet back on track. So far, have experienced no back cramps or sore joints but have taurine, electrolytes and Glucosamine to hand and am taking 5g of fish oil/day.
Bodyweight 84kg

You arms arent even 16" and youre using steroids? How old are you?

Bonez, maybe he is tall?? I know at 6’4" tall 16" bi’s were a challenge even with 5+ years training for me. Genetics are a beyatch sometimes. If that humerus bone is long as hell, it takes quite a bit of gains to build it up in thickness.

Just a thought, from an obvious tall guy…

And since when are arms the measure of a successful BBer? Maybe he has 29" thighs. Sure, it’s unbalanced as hell but whatever. To each his own!

Edit: This is also why people are afraid to post stats/pics. He’s already on cycle, you laughing at his arms probably won’t change that

My arms are 16" exactly, and I’m 23.

I’m sure a lot of people will echo your sentiment, but I train for me, have read extensively on the subject and decided it is something I want to try. This thread is not to discuss whether I should or should not be taking Epistane, its to log my experiences on it for those who are interested in the product.

If any further detail is wanted in the logs, let me know.

I’m throwing up the one before photo I have, and may or may not put some afters up.

Wrong photo, other one is on my camera, will get it up later.

So what youre saying is that any random fool with a few months of training should jump on a cycle and not think anything of it? Come on. 16" arms is small, unless your 5’4. Really small. Because stats aren’t an indicator or anything important or relevant I guess…

When have you seen a sucessful bodybuilder with small arms? Shit I dont even know why I’m responding to such an asinine statement. Bodybuilders arent the only ones using steroids but that doesn’t mean that people who look like rank beginners should be using. It’s a waste of gear. Someone with such little development obviously doesn’t know how to eat or train to make gains naturally.

And about your point about people being afraid to post pics. LOL please. People SHOULD be held accountable for their progress if theyre going to waste space with a dime-a-dozen epi log. If someone is embarassed by the way he looks he shouldnt bring himself to public attention.

The thing is that I’ve seen these threads pop up more times than you know and I knew instanty that this guy isn’t an elite Oly lifter with massive legs and untrained arms.

To each his own is exactly right. I have an opinion just as much as you do. I’m not trying to get someone to stop using drugs. I dont give a shit if the guy sticks the pills up his ass and absorbs them that way. I never even asked for pics in the first place but at least people who are reading know where the advice is coming from. Gains made are always relative.

I wont respond to any of that in this thread.

how come you only rack pull 160 kg x 5 when your 1-rep max on deadlifts is 180 kg arent you supposed to do more in the rackpulls since you start just below the knees ?

When I DL 180, my form is poor and I round my spine, so for both rack pulls and deadlifts I prefer to lift the heaviest weight can with a neutral spine. Also I have only done rack pulls 3 times and have been adding 10kg/week, I will be lifting 170 tomorrow.

On a side note, deadlift training weight has been 130kg x 5.

Day 5
AM: Abs + Cardio. Not as pumped up today, but got a good session in. First sign of joint stiffness in the left elbow, but probably more down to training frequency than epistane
Bodyweight 83kg
PM: Shoulders + Chest â?? Was incredibly up for this session and had the most intense pump of my life. Also managed to bench 90kg for 5 reps after 5 sets of shoulder press and got 10 x 70kg on incline at the very end of the session.
Bodyweight 83.5kg

Day 6
Day off.

Day 7
I was meant to have a rugby game, but it was cancelled. So we played touch for a couple of hours felt energetic and strong.

There are people in the beginners forum deadlifting 280x5. Just sayin. And youve been a member of this site for 2 years. That’s nothign short of pathetic.

I didn’t say he “should” do anything. I stopped reading your post after you said I said he “should” do anything.

No you didn’t.

I’m not sure who this thread is for, really.

I used epistane a couple of years ago, did nothing for me really, why not use the real thing?
