Entering 6th Week of TRT, Estrogen Levels High

April 5, 2019 TSH score was 2.0 this was before my first injection and a Total Test score at 302. Lab work was done same day.

Perhaps the TSH spiked because my system is confused with a sudden loss of Test for 21 days? I don’t know?

Your TSH spike because demand is greater on TRT exposing other weak glands or organs. A lot of guys who struggle on TRT have undiagnosed health problems, mineral deficiencies or there are other labs doctors saying are in range but low.

In range isn’t good enough for TRT, unless other systems are optimal, your experience on TRT will not be. TRT took what was already on the brink and expose yet another problem.

My TSH barely budged, it went from .6–>.9 on TRT, this indicates my thyroid is very strong and is able to keep up demand no problem.

Quick Update

Endo agreed with me on new TRT Format. 100mg a week Test Cyp. Everything will be monitored properly with lab work every 3 months. The doctor told me my blood thickness was high. He said I should donate blood. 2 days ago I donated blood at the Red Cross. The reading at the Red Cross was 18.4 and ever since I donated I’ve had non stop headaches the next day. Does anyone have an idea how to regulate everything and get normal again? I’ve tried reducing caffeine, adding caffeine, drinking more water… taking aspirin. Headaches come and go… never had an issue like this before. Came after blood donation.

Just skimming through this thread and shaking my head at the advice being given. I’m sorry guys, I don’t mean to sound condescending at all… but holy crap. This just isn’t how it’s done. It isn’t. Whatsoever. You guys just over-complicate everything and it’s probably not even your fault. It’s the way you were taught. I get it. But man… I feel like I have so much to offer you guys on a knowledge side of things and I just don’t know where to start… and don’t know if I have the energy or time. Guys in the group I’m in come in with a post and we have them up and running symptom free within 2 months. I just don’t know what to say. Your Total Test is 207 and your Estradiol is 11. It’s funny because my pre-TRT numbers were 227 test and 13 estradiol. We have virtually the same pre-TRT labs. I know what I did to fix my issues completely. I’d explain it, and it’s the correct advice, as everyone I know follows the same advice, but everyone will jump all over it to claim it’s false, yet they all have issues of their own which remain unresolved. Still searching for that magic unicorn perfect protocol, but using the same mentality as always. I just wish I could somehow download what I know straight into your heads where you could see it for yourself for just 5 minutes. You’d be speechless. I know this because I made the transition from where you are (and god damn I was stubborn) to where I am now.

Tag me in a post if you want my advice. If not, I’ll stay out of this one. @stpfan I hope you feel better soon.

I appreciate your post dbossa. I’m practically new here and with TRT… don’t know what you mean by following you? I guess I will try to look for posts with your information in it? I’d like to know simple dosage info etc. What I meant above is… I donated blood… and I feel drained. Possibly low T along with my body adjusting to that missing pint of blood. How do people on TRT recover from donating blood every time?

The guys in our group do not donate blood due to elevated hematocrit and hemoglobin. It is unnecessary contrary to what others will lead you to believe. This elevation in levels is normal and to be expected when on TRT. It’s part of the performance benefit that athletes are after. Where do your levels sit that someone felt warranted for you to donate?

Dbossa… all my levels are posted above. I believe it’s post #58. My Endo said I required it. I’m going to listen to my doctor in regards to that. You keep on suggesting your group? What levels are you at? How do you reduce the thickness without donating blood? Before TRT my Hematocrit was at 47.0%. It’s been going up and up and up since being on TRT. Never decreased. It was 53.0% from lab work a few days ago.
