Enclomiphene for Free T?

Hi guys, been having some Low T Symptoms as of recent. Anxiety, mild depression, no morning wood, no drive to do anything, extreme fatigue, extremely slow progress in the gym etc etc.

Got my bloodwork run which came back pretty normal, for ref I am 29 years old 5ft11 78kg.

Total T - 17nmol (9-30)
Free T - 0.316nmol/9ng/dL (0.2-0.65)
LH - 7.2 iu/L (1.7-8.6)
SHBG - 39nmol/L (18-54)
Albumin - 48g/L (35-50)
Oestradiol- 93pmol/L (41-159)

Granted these levels are considered ‘normal’ however I’ve been told by a few people that my Free T is low (which could explain my systems) and my LH is relatively high which could suggest I’m hypergonadal.

We plan to have children in the middle of next year so TRT for me would be out the window, however I’ve thought about giving a low dose Enclomiphene a try (6.25mg EOD) and see how I get on and most importantly try and get rid of these sides (anxiety being the main issue which I’m struggling with, tiredness etc I can live with but the anxiety I cannot)

I just want to add that this anxiety is for no reason at all, it all arrived at the same time as my other symptoms. Started feeling a lack of energy, started getting tired, my aggression went out the window (always used to be a fairly confrontational guy, now all of a sudden I tend to stay quiet) sex drive has certainly decreased but hasn’t completely gone yet, erection quality is down too, maybe around 70/80% and doesn’t last long at all.

I’ve had a variocele since puberty however it gives me no bother, no discomfort or no pain, however after reading up on the surgery and visiting my GP he said if it gives you no pain etc it’s not going to cause harm. Since then I’ve read about the link of variocele and low T, so this could be the reason for my lower levels for someone of my age and potentially my symptoms. The thought of the surgery is enough to make any man queasy!

Has anyone on here ran enclo with similar levels or situation to myself and how did they get on? I’ve done plenty of googling but it seems to be pretty scarce and everything ends up being more about using enclo for PCT.

James.

Sorry, I’m ignoring your question for a more important question.

How’s your sleep, stress and diet?

Sorry I should have added that, I work two jobs back to back so probably should be sleeping more than I do, however I get 7+ hours a night. Diet is good! Could always be improved of course as can anyone’s, however I am in a caloric surplus hitting my protein goals daily, split into 4 or 5 meals throughout the day.

Stress is minimal. My job doesn’t involve any stress nor does my day to day life. Relationship is great aswell and financially we are comfortable.

Yep

To answer your question SERMs rarely raise FT much, since they also raise SHBG. In your case I don’t think that’s your answer. I think it’s lifestyle related

Oh trust me if I could sleep more I lost most certainly would. But due to working two jobs back to back and not finishing until 11pm (getting home around 11:30) then having to shower and get ready for the next day etc that’s why I get around 7 hours per night. Working like a slave to make someone else rich, don’t we love the working class system
