It said it will fit 25.5" to 34.5" and it actually fits far smaller then this. The quality of the t shirts are very low also. All iron-ons. I have to say though that the foam roller that i ordered is awesome, but this doesnt justify this much money being spent. Also, i would just like to add that after i was charged for the items, and 31 in shipping fees, i had to pay an additional 80 on broker fees. 110 to get this 17 lbs packaged shipped to Toronto is brutal.

Just like to add that if i want a new size of belt, it will cost me 50 to ship it back, then another broker fee to get it back here again.

Anyone have this experience?
If I had a brick, I’d put it on that you don’t actually have a 32" waist. And, did you read the details? I haven’t found a shirt that doesn’t tell you how the shirt is made. And, what gear did you buy?
If I had a brick and the same problem with the order, I d throw it through the car window of their ceo.
Really? This is what he looks like. I know where he lives if you wanna go give him a piece of your mine. I delivered a treadmill to him and trust me in person he is a serious looking dude.
I think this picture is more impressive. I wouldn’t fuck with Tate unless you are ready to commit suicide.
Pudz vs. world class fighters = pudz getting busted
Tate vs. random brick thrower = death by decapitation.

Sure they can, all they need to do is ship to Canada using USPS or Fedex instead of UPS.

They offer USPS shipping in the US why can’t they offer it to Canadians too? Why do they have to choose the carrier that likes to rape our snowy white asses?
They don’t offer USPS shipping in the US. I just checked on the site (put something in the shopping cart and checked the shipping options) and they’ve been very clear about this, their experience w USPS has been bad on many levels - too long to place a shipping order, too great a likelihood of the package getting lost and them having to resend it…

It sure sounds like it sucks for you guys, but it sucks worse for them losing shipments and having to replace that customer’s order. If you want it shipped to you USPS I suggest making friends w a yank who can have it shipped to them, then ship it to you via USPS if it’s such a big deal
Any company that uses UPS to ship to Canada does not want Canadian business that badly. Fuck that. I won’t shop anywhere that I have to deal with UPS brokerage fees. I suggest all other Canadians do the same.

I’ve never ordered from EliteFTS but x2 on Ironmind. Awesome service - even out here to Australia.

Bought 1500$ and somewhat dissatisfied with some of the equipment and the customer service. I am from Canada

Damn… Dre the hatchet beat me to it

I have had one problem in about 5 or 6 separate orders, and that was a belt as well. At the time the belt was a newer item to them and the web site did not have the same sizing the belt manufacturer used. When I contacted them, they set up an exchange very quickly AND fixed the website to reflect the true sizing chart. This is a relatively small company and as such, are quick to respond and do what they need to to keep your business. I have had zero problem with their clothing or equipment.

I’ve had problems with them before as well, first and last time I ever bought anything there. I ordered 2 pairs of knee sleeves, specifically asked over the phone to send them USPS, they said ok… what happens, they come UPS, and I get raped on broker charges like you, and to top it off they sent me a pair of elbow sleeves, and only one pair of knee sleeves, not two like ordered. So I got them to send me another set of knee sleeves, asked again to have them sent USPS, they say ok… fuckers send it UPS, and I get raped on broker charges again.

Needless to say I’ll never order from them again.
Lol, sounds like a fail of communication on your part, it is your duty to make sure the receivers properly decoded the message.
Sounds like you’re an EliteFTS nuthugger that can’t read.

I was clear with them, I didn’t order in Morse code, I ordered over the phone and talked to an EliteFTS person every time I called, and made it very clear what I wanted. I also stated (before making the purchase) to the idiot on the phone that IF they could not send the parcel USPS I did not want to place an order. Hopefully people reading this can differentiate between USPS and UPS, USPS is United States Postal Service, it cost less to ship, and you don’t pay brokerage fees with them, or at least I never have.
Sounds like you’re ignorant of how communication works. If you effectively communicated what you wanted, they would have done it how you asked. As well, you should probably read the fact that they don’t use USPS, they have explained this.
tom63 wrote:
I work with them and know personally they’ll do the best to make it better if you communicate clearly with them.

First, the belt, it’s been discussed and I agree with the previous poster. Be careful how you measure.

I ordered knee sleeves and they were small. I did order by bodyweight. the next size up was to small. I figured instead of sending back again, I’d just keep them and use some old knee wraps. Yes, it’s a pain. But that has been my only issue ever.

And I’ve ordered thousands of dollars worth of stuff. Bars, a monolift, rickshaw, Metal Gear, t shirts etc.

And don’t live in Canada. I understand the frustration, but they can’t control those shipping rates.
I had the exact same problem with the knee sleeves…ordered the suggested one for my bodyweight, too small…ordered the next size up…still too small…just kept them and gave them to a friend who they fit. fuck it.

Have to stand up for Elite here. I have been doing business with them for years. I have also purchased from most of the other larger powerlifting gear dealers. Elite is WAAYYYYY better to work with. Last year I ordered a pair of briefs from a broker for Ixxxxr. Took them 3 months to get to me, and then they were defective. Later in the year ordered a pair of Metal briefs from Elite, got them in three days. Recently ordered a DL suit, got it in like 3 days, but had to send back due to sizing. Got the new one a week later, and it was defective. Sent it back, got a personal call from them, saying that because of my order history they were expediting my new suit to me. That is EXCELLENT customer service. Plus, they provide a plethora of FREE information on their website. The info they GIVE away is worth a lot to any serious lifter.

Also, Dave has been stating for years that they simply will not ship USPS for above sited reasons. They are very steady on this. I find it hard to believe that one of their employees would say otherwise.

Pete, I have had good AND bad experiences with elite.

most are good.

one thing I did not like was when I had a problem with a particular order…calling customer service they were very rude and treated me like I was stupid. I complained and wrote them an e-mail…and wrote up a negative review on another forum…they responded semi-apologetic…but not really.

I still buy from them…

the recent knee sleeves that I already mentioned, and a trap bar just this past year. Like I said, overall my experience with them has been adequate to good.

I will continue to buy from them…

for what it is worth, I have had nothing but good experience with IronMind and Pendlay and MuscleDriver.

SO you work for them or just suck their dicks?

I talked to them on the phone, I used the words United States Postal Service to avoid confusing them with the abbreviation, there was no room for communication error, they said they would ship to me USPS as I requested, BOTH times - and both times they fucked it up. End of story.

Alright Alright, i understand that the shirts are like 10 bucks… i guess i should relax about that. After all the broker fees, shipping costs, and taxes, they work out to a little more then 10… I ordered a spud deadlifting belt in a large and it was way to big. I have put on 25 pounds since then and it just barely fits now. that’s why i got a medium. My dad is a 28" waist, and he cannot get the elitefts belt on.

The foam roller is unreal though. I am loving it so far.

Got some ammonia caps, havent tried em yet.

And got some chalk, and the super heavy knees sleeves.

I think i am just mainly pissed about the belt. By the time i ship it back to them, and get it back here i would have paid for two. I will just deal with it and grab myself a nice toro belt.

OP,

if you’re in Toronto, why not buy chalk locally? Is there something special about Elite FTS chalk?
Joe84 wrote:

No I’m just not an idiot.

Okay, so you originally bought one brand of belt…A Spud dead lift belt, a large (32-36") and it was too big at first, then you grew out of it by gaining 25 lbs. Then you bought another brand of belt…and went a size down to a medium (25.5-34.5). If you grew out of a belt that at max will contain 36" why would you buy a belt that would only contain 34.5"?

Save a boat load of money and look at www.legendfitness.com. Used them for my basement and couldn’t be happier and a TON cheaper and just as high quality. Have trained on power-lift, samson, york etc and legend is right up there quality wise but way down with prices. Check them out before you fall victim to the elite brainwash. Just my thoughts, do with it what you want.
