Electoral Politics: A Losing Game

By your logic why should anyone pay taxes at all? If one part of the government can issue currency and other federal agencies use that currency that would eliminate the need for taxes according to your model.

Why should there be taxes if the government can just create infinite amounts of money with no consequences?

Better question…why doesn’t the government just print enough money to give everyone $1,000,000 a year?

All this makes me wonder what industry @castoli is a part of. For someone with such knowledge and insight, he must have done very well for himself in life. Probably makes 6 figures working 3 days a week with a smoking hot wife and 2.5 children.

Oh, and his PRs are all at least 2x his bodyweight guaranteed.

If my sources are correct, he’s a tenured professor in economics at Woke Forest University.

Don’t these idiots know we don’t have to worry about the debt? We just print more money. Problem solved.

Bad attempt at humor. Go back to fantasizing about 69ing it with Mike Lindell.

No they’ve been saying that printing money is the cause of inflation.

They’ve been saying the same thing for decades and what? Crickets. These people have been wrong for so long, but you still believe them because you think(mistakenly)that the federal governments budget works like a personal budget.

Paying taxes is what drives the currency. And can help stop the ultra-wealthy from turning the country into an oligarchy. Too late.

Can production keep up with this?

Because paying taxes is what gives the currency value. It makes so it is needed.

Then you should be paying 100% taxes…and you do have the choice of paying more in taxes

Your circular logic is incredible.

It is a cause of inflation. It’s not the sole cause. Has anyone said it’s the sole cause?

What the hell are you talking about? Do you even know?

In almost all cases it is an after-effect. Something that happens down-line as inflation has already occurred. Take a look at the most cited cases Zimbabwe and Wiemar Germany. And what do the posters on this forum tend to blame? Money printing!

After all of this, people still vote for the continued downward spiral of this country by voting for Republicans or Democrats. Two parties that are corrupt to the core. This country has so far to go in turning around. If it isn’t too late. It will be up to the people not some asshole political party that represents the status quo.

Who do you recommend we vote for in order to ensure meaningful change?

I believe he’s looking to the Robert Plant/Jimmy Page ticket.
