Yes, Congress has purse powers. But who fills the purse? Taxpayers numb nuts. And the only thing printing money does is make it so that every dollar the government takes from me does less of what they say it should do. You can’t create something out of nothing (in this case wealth/value). Basic rule of the universe.
In the sense that the money goes to a bloated entity that can’t properly budget it is the same. Most states can’t run their own budgets successfully (especially in high tax states like CA, NY, IL etc…) and some have already essentially gone broke.
Have you ever dealt with the government on any sort of contract? I have multiple times and they are always beyond bloated contracts generally administered by incompetent jerks on power trips.

State and federal taxation are much different. The state needs tax revenue to operate. It is a currency user like you and me. The federal government is a currency issuer. They operate completely differently. If the states need more money they need to petition the federal government(the currency issuer) Where does all the money come from when natural disasters wreck havoc?
Look im not saying our system is great (mostly because of too much goverment involvement) but overall, people are willing to pay more for better care. Americans pay more for healthcare than Mexicans. Toyota drivers paid more for their cars than Mitsubishi owners. You want a texas power bar or a cap barbell?
And the government run healthcare(medicare) spends how much in admin.?
And who encourages government involvement to keep out competition? No this can’t be true. We are a capitalistic economy that encourages and fosters competition. No capitalism leads to monopolies and oligopolies. But yeah, keep believing in the flag-waving myths.
