Elbows Are Killing Me. E2 Again or Something Else?

Anyone experience tendinitis type pain in elbows / forearms and aching hands? I’ve read joint pain can be related to low e2 but I’ve only just had bloods done a couple of months ago which doc said were fine and I’ve not changed my protocol or training regime. I’ve also read about TRT effecting collagen synthesis. Anyone with similar pain? What do guys mean when referring to low E2 and ‘joint pain’?

Depending on age. If you are weight training, sometimes your joints and tendons can not keep up with ur muscles.
I have golfers elbow from weights.

When I have low e2 I usually feel it in my knees first.

Are you a lifter? Like Charlie said the ligaments and tendons take a while to catch up to the sudden muscle growth on T. Keep your form in check. Personally its my shoulders I battle with. A few months ago I went too deep on incline bench and tweaked my right shoulder pretty good. Still trying to rehab from that. Ibuprofen and curcumin to fight inflammation.

Had this exact issue when using AI at the start of my TRT. My E2 was “normal” but I was experiencing terrible elbow and knee pain. Dropped the AI and the pain has gone away. My E2 ranges from 42-50 and I feel great. When my E2 was in the “normal” range at 19-25 I had extreme joint pain and low libido. Drop the AI if your using one and give it 6-8 weeks.

If you’re concerned it has something to do with low E2 or whatever, get labs done.

But possibly not. I’ve recently had elbow pain due to lots of bench singles (2-4x a week) and low bar squatting with an upright torso. A quick fix from the physical therapist to address my torso position (was creating elbow valgus) and training with elbow sleeves solved the problem.

I had joint pain for the first several months of starting TRT, spend a long time with low estrogen and figure joints need time to heal. Now joint pain is gone.

You need to take it easy on your joints of you will cause further damage.

One of the first signs I get when my e2 is low is aching forearm/wrist tendons. They hurt also. Need to be stretched constantly. Stop (AI) now, or you are in for some bad experiences.

I hope not. My e2 is up and down like a yo yo. What other symptoms did you get with low e2? I’m exhausted at the moment, falling asleep at my desk and just flat.

Those are pretty dead on.

Emotional/attitude flatness.
fatigue
dry skin/lips/joints

Are you guys using tamoxifen since you’re not using ai?

No. Test and HCG for me.

Just Test.
