To be honest I was a little disappointed with Edwards speech. I was expecting much more from him especially in terms of presentation. I wont get into the merits of his rhetoric because I am off the opposition, but it seemed like he didnt have the gusto one would expect. He did have some high points and memorable lines, but other than those it seemed like he wallowed through the speech, especially considering how much his speaking ability has been played up. I thought Obama and even Big Fat Al did better jobs…although the content of all the speeches has been less than note workthy.

I only caught part of Edwards speech:
“Hi I’m John Edwards. Have you been injured in an automobile accident recently? Not getting satisfaction? Call me! I will fight for you and make sure that you get the money that you deserve!”
No wait that was not his speech at the Democratic convention. That was his TV commercial several years before that.
