Economic Education: Get Some!

Your fault

It’s sarcasm dummy.

@Bauber stated he pays more than competitors and offers insurance benefits up front. Very few companies do the latter. Sounds like he is trying to attract good employees by doing this because he sees the value in a good employee. What horrible boss he is to do those things.

For many, the risk of business ownership is not worth it.

We’re back to this BS again. How about the communists under Stalin killing (by some estimates) 40 million people. How many people did Nazis and their allies kill in WW2? (oh wait, you probably believe the holocaust is a hoax). The Chinese in the last couple generations literally limited the number of kids one could have…

I’ve got a couple special forces buddies who I am sure love would for you to spout this off in front of them.

Regularly around employees and owners.

You work from home trading currencies so…

Are you actually questioning the knowledge and capabilities of Professor Castroli? The oft quoted economics professor of the University of Phoenix?

I have committed great sins and atrocities against the the great casteroli’s teachings.

I will go spend more money as pittance.

May the gods of communism forgive me.

Make sure it’s on firearms too.

He left that tidbit out I see.

His touted ideas lead to bankruptcy.

It’s almost like he’s never run a business…

He doesn’t know that people with money do stuff like that.

He probably thought it was done by a true believer.

And once again what you say has no bearing on the attitudes people would have if they owned the business. You only know their attitudes as employees. Another big fail on your part.

And what is your point? This has nothing to do with paying $15/hr. Did you even read the article?

Did you read the article? Where does it say that $15/hr. led to the store’s demise?

Do stuff like what? Pay people $15/hr.?

It does if you want to turn a profit.

I read the article, looked into the guy a little. 4th generation of coal industrialists, buys & sells businesses etc.

Im familiar with the type. My one brother in law bought his boy a refrigeration company to get his feet wet in business after college.

Make sure you buy some more toys, I’m sure it will fill the hole in your life.

Run a hobby/business that doesnt actually need to turn a profit.

The profit is gotten when you sell it. Hence all the feel good fluff and virtue signaling.

Then how come the $15/hr. wasn’t mentioned as a reason for the demise of the business? He even said it himself, twice I believe. He didn’t give the business the attention it needed, as he was too wrapped up in the Digital Dreams Lab business.

Because its still in operation.

Dude, you’re counting pennies trying to figure out people who count millions.

He’s going to make half a mil. For owning it for a couple years.

And thats just from one venture. There are many irons in the fire.
