Economic Education: Get Some!

Who said there would be no benefit?

Nah, I think it is you who doesn’t understand the meaning.

And they have not enacted any embargos against them…nice try.

What choices are left with oligopolies? With very little in the way to choose what ethical consumption is there in such a system. Kinda dulls the whole voting with your dollars thing.

Never said they didnt

Embargos are done to protect the assets of the U.S

are you really this stupid

In Marxism nothing I earn belongs to me therefore I have no incentive to do anything above the bare minimum. That impedes progress and innovation.

In other words - let their economic system alone and let it fail

Justifying and understanding history are two entirely different things.

What is your education again?

Considering you don’t even understand what presentism is.

In a worker co-op this is the way things are done. The workers hire and fire the managers. It is far more democratic than our current business model, which is much more authoritarian.

Oh.

Did workers start the business and share the losses as well in this model? Usually when people start talking about sharing losses and debt, this flies right out the window with unicorns farts and the rest of the marxist drivel.

False. What you produce belongs to you and you have more of a connection with the item of production. In a capitalist system you do not own what you produce. The boss does.

Yes, if you are employed and working for their business… duh. That is a basic principle of law.

If you start your own business or create something on YOUR time - you own it.

Yes. Worker Co-ops sometimes fail, just like in private businesses. Except the workers decide what to produce, where to produce and what is to be done with the profits. Unlike in a capitalist system.

Co-ops can exist in a capitalist system, dipshit.

Yes they can. But the path is more difficult. The powers that be do not want the public to know that there is another way. So they put up roadblocks to stifle this method.

If I own the company I decide what to produce. To incentive my workers I can profit share with them…
It’s an at will employment contract. The worker can renegotiate the terms or find another contract.

List 2 oligopolies and explain how they fit the definition.

I don’t know what to say to a person that thinks there isn’t a metric shit ton of choice in this country in most industries.

You can start a co-op in “capitalist” America…

This is absurd.
