Economic Education: Get Some!

He’d be on the wait list…

No, he doesn’t understand how money works on the federal level.

Do you believe a federal budget works like a personal or business budget?

What a stupid point.

Well he certainly wouldn’t have mountains of medical debt.

A common misconception in the U.S. is that countries with universal health care have much longer wait times. However, data from nations with universal coverage, coupled with historical data from coverage expansion in the United States, show that patients in other nations often have similar or shorter wait times.

What?

Who cares about that if you’re dead?

What a dumb comment

I do. Because it does. The only way it differs is that the Fed can print excess currency, which will fool some people sometimes(maybe all the time, in your case). That, however, does devalue the currency/inflate prices.

Do you even understand the shit that you post? The study you posted has 3 different metrics and wait times means different things:

  • The share of people who sometimes, rarely, or never get an answer from their regular doctor’s office. (in the same day)
-“The U.S. was on the higher side for the share of people who sometimes, rarely, or never get an answer from their regular doctor on the same day at 28%. Canada had the highest at 33% and Switzerland had the lowest at 12%”
    - I have a feeling I have to spell this out for you … Canada, who has Universal Health Care, IS STILL WORSE IN THIS METRIC THAN THE US. This was in the study conclusions you posted but obviously didn’t read thoroughly.

  • The share of people waiting one month or more for a specialist appointment.
-" The U.S. was towards the lower end for the share of people waiting one month or more
for a specialist appointment at 27%. Canada and [Norway] tied for the highest at 61%
each and Switzerland had the lowest at 23%."
    - Again, the US system, which you decry as being abysmal, IS BETTER THAN CANADA
AND NORWAY, whose systems you champion, in this metric as well in terms of wait
    times for SPECIALISTS.

  • How long a patient has to wait to get “elective” or non-emergency procedures such as cataract surgery, hip replacement, and knee replacement.
-Took a look at their raw data, honestly, it’s incomplete. US didn’t even have data
populated for the 3 fields they considered for elective surgeries (cataracs, hip
replacement, knee replacement) so can’t really comment on this but I’m sure the US is
among the best since people TEND TO COME HERE FOR THOSE ELECTIVE
    SURGURIES…

My God, you’re one ignorant stooge

No, they are not exactly alike there are similarities, but it will have worse consequences if run out of control like it is now. Personally, I can’t run mountains of debt unabated for decades on the backs of other people.

I think Elon understands how it works just fine.

Stupid to whom? You?

Of course it is. You are a loser that has literally accomplished nothing and you are passed middle age. Yet, you want to preach to people how money actually works.

LOL.

Even more reason the Federal Reserve should be abolished.

Many founding fathers spoke out harshly against a Federal Reserve and for good reason.

Another incredibly stupid point.

No he does not. He is ignorant like you on this topic.

And they’ve been saying the same damn thing for decades. And what has happened?

Another person displaying what decades of propaganda and indoctrination can do. Afraid to challenge his beliefs as he is afraid his whole world will crumble to the ground. And that is more important than finding out the truth.

Tell me, where did people first get the money to pay their tax?

So if people have to ration their insulin, because of price and suffer and some even die it’s okay, because they aren’t starving?

And the Federal government IS NOT a business and shouldn’t be treated as such. So they can just go fuck off with all of that “our grandchildren will have to pay it back” bullshit. These jerkoffs been saying the same crap for decades but it never happens, why?

Are you talking about the U.S., or the first tax anywhere?

You made an equivalence argument. I refuted it by saying it’s not the same.

Starvation will kill me in a month, rationing insulin will take a lot longer.

You can fast for longer than a month. Because death occurs faster via starvation that makes death by lack of insulin okay?

Why don’t you tell us what economic model you would like then. Maybe something like Castro or Mao? After all, they were following your boy Marx.

Chavez? The guy whose country is in absolute shambles less than a generation after his policies were implemented.

Canada:s model where they have just shit-canned free speech and peaceful protest?

What specifically have you contributed to make the world a better place?

It appears you want the government to operate as a business, providing goods and services at low to no cost to the population.

Is that correct?

Yeah, because that happens all the time with major industries. Bwhahaha…
