Sorry, but this is a dumbass thing to say. I am NEVER that hungry. EVER. And I can’t help but wonder how you can eat till you’re absolutely full and be hungry again in 30 minutes. Food does not digest that fat; especially rich food.
But hey, man, good on you if that’s what gets you results. I am not like that, and the flipside of that is, I have no trouble admitting what I’m suggesting won’t work for you.
Everyone’s different; when I eat till I’m full, I stay full for a long, long time, even if I just went through a gruelling workout.
No prob. But once you’re carrying upwards of 200lbs LBM, don’t be surprised when things such as hunger have also changed.

every time i try and leave this thread…the stupidity pulls me back in!
chillain, given that even the top natural bodybuilders rarely carry more than 200 lbs LBM, how can someone on this forum even hope to approach that amount? much less “upwards” of 200 lbs?
i should also mention that when weight goes UP (i.e. significantly above ones setpoint) hunger often goes DOWN. this is why the biggest guys often must resort to “force feeding” themselves in order to put on any more mass.

Where’d your pic go JMo?
i’ve never posted my pic (and never will) for the simple reason that no matter what i look like, people will inevitably tell me i’m not big/swole/ripped/jackt enough, and then try to use that as an excuse to discredit the advice i give in favor of bro-level nonsense.
if i posted my pic every time some meathead calls me out, i’d simply be playing right into thier game of “zomg hes not even 250 lbs wat does he kno lol!”

I really don’t understand how JMo having a picture is going to change anything. If anything, he’s trying to get you to question widely held beliefs which when you really look at it make no sense. Skepticism is never a bad thing. This isn’t the first time in history someone like him has taken any flak. You can either continue to believe that you must eat every 3.246 hours and eat only 50 g a meal, or look for an explanation.

i’m too smart to fall for that.
He’s way too smart to show others on a bodybuilding forum his progress and physique? Wow, so all of these people with their pictures must be so much less intelligent than JMO? Imagine if everyone had your pussy attitude. Even if you don’t look amazing you can post your pictures and people can offer constructive criticism, then maybe you can actually have a worthwhile physique and people can take your advice a bit more serious…
I don’t see any logic at all in these posts asking for JMo’s pictures. Do you go to a cancer doctor and say ‘show me pics of you surviving cancer’? Do you go to a weightlifting coach (perhaps for an olympic team) and say ‘show me your gold medal’? No. You simply evaluate based on the advice given and results obtained from said advice. Asking for pics is a stupid diversionary tactic to avoid the real issue - debating the science and physiology of what’s being said.
When you go to a doctor do they have their diploma on the wall? I guess if you are the patient they don’t need it as long as they tell you they know what they are talking about. Do you go to a weightlifting coach who looks as if he has never held a dumbbell?
Should some 165lb kid give advice on how to get big to people on a bodybuilding forum when he has clearly never applied any of the principles he preaches? I only asked for his pictures after he began attacking me, which I suppose is ok, especially when you can’t back it up right? Maybe we want to see his pictures so we can offer him some help in achieving a half way decent physique instead of looking like absolute shit like I assume he does…
You are making unwarranted assumptions without any proof, which makes it hard to take much else of what you say seriously, but I’ll try and address some of it.
Over the internet, nobody can see your diploma - you take what is said based on merit. If an arguement has merit, you evaluate it, and reject or accept it based on your evaluation. How the person making the arguement looks is completely irrelevant. I’m not quite sure how else I can put this - it seems incredibly simple to me.
Veiled insults toward my intelligence aren’t warranted either. Regardless, how many weightlifting coaches DO look like semi-fit people who do a bit of cardio? Would you not take Mike Robertsons advice seriously? Bill Hartman? They’re just names on the internet, but they get results, and you’d be a fool to say ‘omg hes not ript to tha boneeee he duznt noe shitt’.
Take a step back, stop getting so emotional, and look at the situation logically. Someone said something you disagree with, and you threw a little temper tantrum. I’m not sure how long JMo has been training for - I haven’t been training for long, and am far away from having any pictures worth posting here (or anywhere). That doesn’t mean the science is different, or an opinion is any less valid. Skepticism as to the norm is healthy; if you want to ignore what is being said, that’s fine - go about your merry way. Don’t arc up for no reason though.
Do I spell like that? When you “quote” me with saying “omg and ript” does that make you feel more intelligent? Maybe I need to reiterate this point again, I only asked for his pictures after he acted like you have by mocking how you perceive someone with my physique to talk or type.
I guess when you look pathetic like it’s obvious that you two do, the only thing to do is try and belittle the other person and apply stereotypes when called out. Having a great physique does not always mean that the person knows absolutely everything. I never said this. However, you have achieved nothing, as well as JMO, so why on earth would you give people advice. Some things you just need to experience and not just read about.
If I needed some help cutting for a competition I wouldn’t come and ask your dumb ass what I might be experiencing in week 8 and how to cope. All you know is how to eat, type, and rationalize for why you don’t yet have an impressive physique. You have been a member since 2007 and posted 430, maybe it’s time to get off the internet and hit the gym you moron.
You know I used to be one of the guys that thought pictures or your physique don’t matter. After having changed myself significantly I can say it’ not the end all be all but you do meant some things along thale way that will make it clear experience is just as beneficial as book learning. If you don’t have the balls to post a picture it shows that you’re not confident in yourself

I can understand being skeptical of advice from complete strangers. I used to get bothered all the time about the the “dangers” of doing behind the neck presses and deadlifts. The funny thing is, in that time, I was way bigger and stronger than all of them. Never once have I run into someone bigger than me who said they were dangerous. The problem is, some people only do a small amount of research and then assume that is all there is to it. They naturally that an exercise is dangerous or that meal frequency is set in stone and cant vary from person to person.
Ok mate, I’ve tried to be nice about this but you’re being a dickhead for no reason.
Grow up, learn to think critically and not just believe some nonsense you hear bandied about the gym, learn some manners, and feel free to never address me again. I have no idea how old you are but you act like you’re about 4 years old and someone just took your candy. Somethings you DO need to experience. But that’s not what’s up for debate. What was originally discussed wasn’t what you seem to have perceived it to be. What was stated was that more frequency doesn’t offer any significant benefit over less. You somehow read that as less frequency is better.
Learn to read, learn to debate, and learn to stop being a retard.
