E2 Not Responding to Arimidex, Aromasin

Systemlord,
If my current Pregnyl dose (400 units twice per week) may be too high… What is the absolute lowest dosage of Pregnyl I can take without jeopardizing Testosterone replacement?

HCG is mostly used for fertility, it’s not necessary for TRT except is rare cases. I’m on TRT and not on hCG.

Easy. With artificially high Test, your E2 will also be artificially high. You shouldnt take increased levels of Test and then expect your E2 to be within “normal” range.

Read my story. “Low” and “high” are all relative and individual when it comes to E2

People who take extra high levels of Test should not expect the rest of their bloods to be “normal” especially with respect to E2, hemocrit, etc

Serious question:
If I DO NOT take pregnyl during TRT, can I still have sex with my girlfriend? I always thought that TRT withOUT HcG causes male sexual dysfunction. I assumed that’s why HcG was prescribed in the first place.

Where did you hear this? It’s not at all true, by the way.

I’m amazed at the amount of bad information that is out there. Just wild

I thought this post was pretty clear. A small minority of men need it for sexual function or to fix ejaculation problems.

The hCG may even be what’s causing all your symptoms.

I can only pray that you’re correct here. But, praying is all I can do.

The main T-Nation home website has a new article (header below). Have you read it? Do you think it may have some merit? I only ask this because before switching over to Defy, my other clinic only specified IntraMuscular injections.

URL: Do Sub-Q Testosterone Injections Cause High Estrogen?

Yes, I read it. I tried SQ and felt horrible. My brain was in a stupor.

Again, your estrogen is normal for the amount of test you are using! 200mg per week is a small cycle, not TRT. If you are that worried about your estrogen, try

  1. cutting your dose to 100mg per week and re-evaluate. YOU STILL HAVE NOT TOLD US WHAT YOUR T LEVELS ARE!?

  2. Inject 2x per week instead of 1x. This is a well known way to help with E2

800IU pregnyl is average. you can stop it for a month and see the difference, no pain trying this.
without HCG (if you want save some cash, i’ve been using reliablerx - 10k IU hcg - 22usd), my libido and mood tanks a bit. i personally don’t do it for fertility at all, i rather not be fertile tbh at this point. but sex is much worse for me without it, everything feels more blunt

So all you use is T-cyp and some estrogen-blocking AI? Nothing like Gonadorelin, right?

You really believe I’m on a “small cycle”? Never heard that one before. But here is what you want to see below:

Not anymore, now I’m on Jatenzo @ 237 mg twice daily, a new oral testosterone treatment. Good luck getting your insurance to cover it. As far as an AI, estrogen has been as high as 90, anytime I introduce an AI (0.050), bone pain in hips and knees and I feel like I’m dying.

Useless in most cases, because secondary cases will not respond. Trying to stimulate a nonfunctional or dysfunctional pituitary gland is futile.

Wow, you’re very sensitive to testosterone or you taking biotin supplements! This is a full blown cycle for you, if you’re not on biotin supplements. The hormone levels, not the dosage determines whether or not you’re on a cycle.

I’m putting my money on biotin supplements, which gives erroneously high hormone values on lab testing.

Actually, Since you mentioned it - I just looked and since I do take B-Complex almost every day - it DOES in fact contain 325mcg of Biotin per serving/day. I never knew that! Does biotin only affect testosterone readings?

Anyway - here are all other nutritional supplements I take (rarely - maybe once per week):
1.) Vitamin B-complex (as stated before)
2.) 1,500 mg N-AcetylCysteine(NAC) (prescribed by a Clinical nutritionist because I take Tylenol daily for my back pain). He said NAC protects liver from Tylenol-induced damage.
3.) 4 x Vascepas daily (about 4 grams total)
4.) Cytomel 5mcg (My insurance only covers this drug to take once every four days - So that’s why I only take supplements rarely)
5.) Tirosint 75mcg (Brand-name)
6.) (USDA-certified Organic) Methyl B12 oral SPRAY (about 1500mcg’s)

Systemlord,
(Off-subject) I didn’t know you have a bad case of uncontrolled diabetes. I’m so fucking sorry!

Can you perhaps post a link to your story? I looked on your profile, but all it says is your posts on other people’s random threads.

Your hormonal labs tests are useless. It’s a damn shame lab technicians aren’t asking these questions before taking your blood.
