Dry Skin. E2, Anastrozole

Really suffering with this, I assumed my e2 had gone low (was using anastrazole about 0.25mg 2x per week),

Haven’t used any for a month or so and am still having issues. Interestingly I’m not feeling like I did with raised e2 in the past so it doesnt seemed to have bounced high for stopping.

Going to be doing labs in the new year.

Anyone had experience of this with TRT?

Do bloodwork FIRST, see the problem, ask questions THEN.

Pretty sure asking if anyone else has had dry skin problems with TRT is independent of my blood work.

So No. I’ll continue with my question.

Be interested to hear what other people found was the cause of their’s if they’ve experienced this?

Out of interest Hank, other than an argument what did you hope to achieve with that post?

What you might need to empaphise with is that some folk can’t afford to throw a round of bloods every time they have a minor issue- asking about shared experiences is where a forum like this can be helpful.

If you don’t like the fact I’ve asked prior to getting bloods in the new year then ignore the thread.

I am trying to achieve a logical way of thinking all across this forum. Its that many people come here and start like you “i assume i have this…”. You see…there is no need to assume. You can just get shit done like a grown up, and see the problem, then solve it.
With this way of making topics, NO ONE can actually help because we do need to know if it is low e2.
And it doesnt matter if someone has had similar issue as side effects can be similar to different problems. Lets say someone has had dry skin because of low e2. But we dont know if yours is low so what helped him wont help you if the CAUSE is not the same.

Its just completely unproductive to ask if someone has had a side effect, without talking about the CAUSE. In order for anyones experience to be of any use to you, you would need to KNOW if the side effect is caused by the SAME problem.

So me and others who would also ask for bloodwork first, we just try to turn around this weird trend to just fuck the cause, not know whats going on, and just go by comments on the internet. The funny thing is that sometimes side effects of something low are the same as for something high, but people will rather just “guess” and “assume” instead of just actually doing THE ONE and THE ONLY thing that actually means something.

You will rather have a problem and sit in the internet with it for a month, instead of just doing the bloodwork like yesterday and come here and ask for an actual fix to an actual problem.

How’s your vitamin d? Ferritin?

No idea, I’ll add this to the bloods if there’s good reason to.

Thanks,

Hank, you sound angry. Lighten up, I’ve asked if anyones had issues with dry skin on a TRT forum and you’re talking in forum absolutes.

One of the things asking before doing bloods allows to happen is to be guided on additional bloods you may not have considered outside your normal panel.

Like above.

On a side note I can’t get in to do bloods with work and holidays until the new year anyway so thought I’d just ask about it.

Good job it’s only my skin that’s gone flakey

From my experience with E2 and AI, is some mental effects are more quick then everything else. Almost instant at times like the very next day or 12 hours. While the other stuff sort of catches up next week. Hence some people can’t make AI work due to going by mental feeling asap. So an example would be taking an AI and going too low, you finally feel better mentally rather quick. Then as your body spends time in the low ranges the dry skin and other things start creeping up, even the worse mental side like absolute apathy creep on. Then vice versa, you say ok no more crashing E2 let me actually actively bring my E2 up. You go too high and again you get that initial mentally better feeling pretty quick compared to the slower onset of the bloat, ED, etc. with the eventual mental effects of being a mangina creeping on.

Which is why I also think its so hard to distinguish high and low E2.

From my personal experience 0.5mg of arimidex will certainly crash my E2.

0.5 mg will crash me depend where my e2 are. But yeah.
