First of all, I never understood why people could be so fucking dumb. If you think you can fly, why do you need to jump off a fucking roof, just try to take off from your current position straight up into the air. Nope, can’t fly. I dunno. I never got that feeling. I would just laugh and hallucinate and walk for many miles. One time on PCP I thought that I was indestructible and went tearing after some kid in an attempt to run him down and dismember him.
Fortunately he was a very fast runner and the kid I was with ran t-bone style into a passing car which he believed was made of styro-foam. This allowed time for the other kid to escape being torn to pieces.

I know someone who has actually gotten on top of a very large parking structure (7 stories) tripping on acid quite strongly and had NO desire to jump off.
I know it’s a cliche, but bullshit propaganda stories just trickle down from generation to generation. It’s quite sad that people can’t think for themselves anymore.

IMO, the most likely option for a drug is a scopolamine like in datura. It lasts for days, is accompanied by persistent, persecutory hallucinations, and people really lose it.
Datura/scopolamines are theorized to be the source of the werewolves myth where people on them actually believe they are being chased by wolves.
Its also the source of the witch’s broomstick, where old time witches were thought to have applied mixes containing the chemicals to each other’s genital with a little broomstick like contraption then had out of body witch’s orgies.

Yea good call, datura does fit perfectly. And I’ve read that people do make it into tea. Datura is the only thing I’ve heard of that causes frank hallucinations, and does seem to cause bizarre and violent behavior on an even greater scale than PCP. Definitely something I would not even consider putting into my body.
