Anybody out there give me a lead on some nice dress clothing for those of us in the 3-5X range? Really tired of going to walmart and buying something that fits my torso but bells out at the waist.
In particular I’m looking for some casual jackets to go with either jeans or dress pants both.

Sean John has some nice stuff that doesn’t make you look like a wannabe gangster, but it’s damn pricey.
Also for jeans make sure you only get them “big” if your legs are HUGE.
I’m a fat guy with big legs and the normal 44 is a little snug, but the 44b can fit a couple baseball bats in there too.

Jantzen may be able to do something. Pretty fairly priced custom shirts.
I recently had to purchase some clothes for a wedding. I went to Mens Warehouse and found everything that I needed. Plus their prices weren’t too bad. And might I add that I’m 6’5" and 370 lbs, so it is sometimes hard to find clothes that fits lol.
Men’s Warehouse is where I go for anything dressy and I’m a 2x-3x build. They’ve always had what I needed. Once you start buying there you get $50 coupons a few times a year too, one of the few places that really takes care of their customers.
They even have long ties in stock and not lame one’s either.

This isn’t exactly dress clothes related, but I figured I’d find some fellow big men here. How bout if we get together and campaign for some 3-5X T-Nation T-Shirts? It looks like they only make them for the under 200 guys! I know that I am not the only one on this site who would buy some if they came in our size!

Ye that’s a good place, the only thing’d I’d caution is be careful of the jeans. I got some and the waist was fine but the thigh was extremely tight. They have a great return policy though.

hahaha I have my red 2xl tnation shirt in my closet waiting for me. Great idea.
Why not just go to a tailor? You might be able to save more money by having a Walmart blazer taken in, as opposed to going to a specialty store.
