Yeah, me either. Roshi is a dirty old man and comic relief for the most part (in anything beyond the DB series and possibly the Raditz saga).
Honestly, although special effects have gotten pretty good, I don’t think they are to the point of being able to do a DBZ movie yet. Not only that, but all of the main characters in DBZ are built (some like Brolly are hyooge). I’m just not seeing the high number of Hollywood actors with that type of physique running around to play the roles.
Heck, half of the series was these guys training and getting into freaky shape.
Sadly I fear Hollywood may butcher this movie.

I dont know give masters some green paints and entiny I think he might do it but I havent seen any reascent pic of either so I will reserve judgementtill it comes out. Also this is Dragon Ball not Dragon Ball Z. Goku and the others werent really drawn muscular

Ok, and if that were the case then it wouldn’t be too big a deal that they casted a skinny guy to play Goku. But, as the picture posted above suggests, it would seem that they are going to have Goku go Super Saiyan (the hair looks horrible btw). And if that’s the case, then he was most certainly built by that time, and would have gone well into the DBZ series.
There in lies one of the major problems with trying to make a series like DB/DBZ into a live action movie. The only ones who are really going to go see the movie are fans of the show.
Yet, you can’t compress a 200+ episode show into a 2 hour movie and still stay true to the feel and/or storyline of that show. So you’re just going to piss off said fans, and many of them aren’t going to wind up paying to see the movie. Thus it winds up being a waste of time and money to even make.
Now, if they did the movie CGI style (like the Final Fantasy movies, the second one that’s supposed to be a continuation of FF7 was pretty good), then I think they might actually be able to do a fairly good movie. But live action is just going to either have an entirely different feel, or it’s going to be cheesy as hell.
LoL I dont think that is a pic from the movie. Still im am afraid it will be like the Double Dragon movie.(sad to say I liked that movie but hey I was 10 when it came out I didnt know any better) But like I said we will have to wait and see untill then its all just speculation
