Just checking but you guys have all seen my “Nutbar on the Treadmill” video right?

To be honest, her moves are too precise. I bet she’s a dancer. Some artists even practice singing while doing cardio so they get better at performing under that sort of stress.
There is a time and place for everything. Her “moves” could have got herself injured on the treadmill. I didn’t assume immediately that she was a dancer, she could be “warming up” much like the lady next to her was doing stretching. Tai Chi classes usually start with waving of the hands to get the circulation going and she maybe doing the same.
?? The woman bends down and does a clear dance move without missing a beat on FUCKING TREADMILL all while keeping time and literally performing to the music on the loudspeaker. What person have you ever seen do some shit like that who hadn’t trained for it at all and be that coordinated? That looked like “stretching” to you?

LOL. Some of you are ridiculous.

Yeah, please let me know where the Hip Hop/Pop Tai Chi classes are.

not a bad idea…

runs away to patent the idea and get it started

Coming to a gym near you!!!

Very true, now in it’s 4th edition.

Haha you better be the Instructor for this new course, the ladies will come a-runnin! There is a patent on a yoga/tai chi/pilates class called BodyBalance and dance combination class called Zumba, very popular with the mainstream.

I have seen the older folk here doing Tai Chi in the park and Barbie Girl was playing, another time it was Achy Breaky Heart, but still to Tai Chi, not line dancing.

And about the “Nutbar on the Treadmill” vid…if you look at the belt, you can see the LifeCycle logo going by quite slowly as she usually has it set at about 2.0 to 3.0 kph, which is quite slow. The people next to her are doing about 5.0kph. Another time she had 3 treadmills open near her and all were turned on and she was jumping FROM ONE TREADMILL TO ANOTHER and back again. She will also play with the incline and speed buttons like she’s DJ.

It’s like juggling chainsaws. Yes it takes skill and not everyone can do it, least of all untrained people. But why would you want to?

The guy could have been rehabbing a bodypart, or maybe it was his first time using a machine. Whenever I use a new machine, I start off with little to no weight to work on form, see how much resistance the machine alone gives, etc.

On another note, because my tumour was at my left rib cage, I know that I’ll be doing some pretty light upper body work when I get back in the gym. Hopefully some douche can focus on his workout rather than worrying about me doing 10 lbs on the lat pulldown machine.
can you please change your avatar, Im getting sick of having your fat a$$ staring me in the face every time I scroll down a thread.

Dude, I wonder if we could find youtube videos of you lifting! Lol…that would be hilarious - and super creepy all at the same time!
Or recording him recording other people… That’d be the ultimate creepy.

Yeah guys, I’m sorry that this thread about douchebaggery at the gym turned out being about me.
I’ll go to Hell, but enjoy the videos if you like.
You are a douchebag in the gym. The thread is still completely on topic.
yeah, that’s the self-defecating joke I was making.
Do you mean self-deprecating, or is it a deliberate play on words? Either way, made me laugh.

It is creepy to secretly film people in a gym, but the results are still funny. I guess watching stuff like that is kind of like eating hot dogs - it’s best not to spoil the fun by thinking too much about how they got made.

along the lines of gym douchebaggery… there was an old guy in the locker room with one leg up on the counter using the hair dryer to dry his balls… Pretty gross right there and I’m glad I dont use that hairdryer (or any other hair dryer for that matter)

I wish I could have videoed the guy at a gym I visited last week. He was lying face down on a bench with bent knees and his ankles crossed, doing tricep kickbacks with 25lbs. Guy was sweating bullets. Another guy and I watched him for a bit with a WTF look on our faces.
But this is why I love commercial gyms, there is always entertainment between sets.
I had a WTF look on my face as a result of triceps kickbacks, too - but for a different reason. This kid at the gym had about the hugest arms I’ve seen this side of a pro bodybuilder. Even at rest his arms were very defined and literally overwhelmed the rest of his body. He was doing upright rows near where I was deadlifting, so I kept an eye out to see what he did for his arms. I couldn’t believe my eyes when he moved on to doing kickbacks with 15lbs! I guess there IS something to be said for pump-style training.

Sure, I’ll change it soon.

If you’re talking about the OP, yeah I feel you.

But if you’re talking about Nards, what he does is creepy as hell and completely different. I don’t regularly check the SRC thread, but I don’t think anyone there has done anything as weird as videotaping a woman or another man from behind while they exercise.

How would you feel if someone who looked like Nards [see first page of the thread- it’s really important that you see what he looks like] did that to you?

Seems like this type of shit happens the world over. It’s majorly disgusting.

I did not see the picture that you speak of… I kinda just skimmed through the first two pages then picked up after that.

I know what you’re saying with it being kinda weird to video someone randomly but I have to admit that I have done it once before cause it was the weirdest thing I’d ever seen and I had to show someone else lol. Afterwards I realized it was weird to video it though lol
