Don't Know Which Fat Loss Diet to Follow

Hey guys,

Ive started a fat loss diet on 28.2.2010. All went great until the end of april.
I wasn’t losing fat anymore and my strength and motivation was close to death.

It was a low fat, high protein, med (and clean) carb, low caloric diet.

After this happened, I decided to go over to the anabolic diet and started it on 9.5.2010.
My motivation came back and I’m feeling better the whole day, BUT I’m not really happy about the foods I’ve to chose.

It’s been only 4days now but I can’t eat any eggs withouth bread/toast anymore.
I’ve got no problem with snacks withouth bread, but breakfast is horrible. I also can’t eat any yoghurt or similar…

I’m not sure what to do…
Should I stay with the AD or maybe go over to the metabolic diet or another low carb variation?

Ah some information about me:
4-5x MMA(Boxing/Thaiboxing/Wrestling) per week
3x strength training (ws4sb with some changes for my needs 2Upper, 1lower) per week

started at 94kg (in the morning) now im at 87kg (in the morning).

29.2.2010 START

28.2.2010 START

1.5.2010 …

Great progress, i think if you just ate clean and carb cycled (use search function) you will be fine.

If you’re doing the AD, isn’t getting to eat bread, oatmeal, pasta, etc. on the weekends enough? If a different diet would suit your needs better, then by all means…but having to wait at maximum five days to eat a stack of pancakes on the weekend just doesn’t seem that unbearable.

I don’t know what it is exactly but I think I don’t like to eat this fatty meals all the time.

Ive read some articles and I think k-man23(thanks) is right.

I’m going to use the carb cycling method.

I’ve read the “carb cycling codex” and I think this method is a good choice for me

Ive already planned my whole meals but I’ve got a problem with some “protein+fat” meals.

I “created” two different fish salads and in case of need a shake, BUT I’m not a big fan of cottage cheese and nuts only meals and at the moment there comes no other alternative to my mind. Maybe you got some ideas; something I can bring to work and eat it cold?

thanks

For low-carb breakfast I know they have low-carb tortillas with like 12g of fiber and 6g net carbs, try those with some eggs and bacon… good stuff! Used to low-carb it 7-days a week for a while, now I’m carb cycling. Gotta be a little more disciplined on carb-cycling diet for tracking your intake, etc. but it works really well.

Hmm, well, on the AD I eat toast sometimes for breakfast - Trader Joe’s has sprouted bread that has only 4 net carbs per slice. I’ve even made bacon and grilled cheese sandwiches with it. But if it’s not working for you, it’s not working.

I’m not from America and it’s hard to find “good” low carb food here

But I’ve made my decision. I’m going over to carb cycling.

I think I need 2high carb days and 1med carb day, but I’m not very happy that I have to take the carbs immediately before sleeping.

Maybe it’s better to take a PWS with some carbs and before sleeping a casein/berries shake instead of a whole meal with chicken and rice.

I’m at home after my MMA training at 9.30pm and then I’m doing my 1hour workout…
It will change in 2weeks, when I’m finished with my job, but my diet have to go on
