my t-level on a high day 1,110 and on a bad day 700. Before doing trt my levels in the morning were at 530-600. I been on trt for about 5 months and went form 500 to around 850. I am 30 years old and want to know if you guys think i should keep or should i go all natural. i feel great on TRT but i am scared long term it could affect my health. Long term can this hurt me ? am i too young to do it? i like my levels in the mid 800s i feel amazing
It doesn’t matter what your levels were previously, if you feel way better on TRT than you had a clinical need probably do to excessive SHBG or some type of HPTA dysfunction that labs can’t always show.
Ask yourself this question, how can feeling awesome be a bad thing in the long term?
If you feel better it means your body is healthier and in my book that’s always a good thing for longevity.
Your levels are swinging quite a bit, you may feel even better on splitting up injection twice weekly reducing the total weekly dosage 20%. It will keep your levels more stable and you won’t see big drops at the end of the week.
ok i will talk to my doctor but i am 30 years old and im scared long term i can get hurt on this because there isnt enough research on this treatment at a young age. Do you think i am making a mistake if i love how i feel on this and want to do this for ever when i am scared long term what can happen to my health?
Nobody will make a decision for you. It seems like you already made yours few months ago. Why did you decide yes in the first place if your blood was OK.
I was working out and dieting like a animal and i wasnt gaining weight/ muscle and wasnt getting cut and i was extremely anxious all the time. since being on it i gained 15 pounds of muscle and i am happier inside and outside ;). I want to keep going but what do you think the long term affect can be on my health? do you do trt if so since what age?
Between your natural production and the injectable testosterone, your body can’t tell the difference. Nelson Vergel over at Excelmale has been on TRT for over 30 years and is still doing well, all you have to do is check bloods every 6 months and keep them in a health range and enjoy the rest of your life.
Don’t let you being anxious all the time sabotage everything you have gained while on TRT. If I could gain 15 pounds of muscle, I wouldn’t be anxious, I would be thrilled.
Nelson Vergel had HIV at 32 thats why he has been on it.,very interesting man though.
systemlord i love your advice im just scared long term use affecting my natural production/ causing me longterm damage.
Those are great results. For a lot of people a level of 600 might be fine. But you noticed a problem or you never would have looked into it. And now you feel good, I do not think I would want to mess with that. Two shots a week forever is not that big a thing
im happy with my results but im wondering longterm affects on my helth from trt
What are your actual concerns? As far as I know there have been no studies indicating negative long term affects within the healthy range of testosterone.
Excellent point.
i know there arent any studies showing on long term affect because it is mostly people in there 60s doing it. like at first they thought hgh was amazing now they are saying it can cause cancer. thats the only thing i am scared of
If I were you I would stick with the program but just to be the devils advocate… what is stopping you from dropping it cold Turkey and doing a legit restart? If it doesn’t workout then you jump back on? Fyi… everybody dies someday.
WHO is saying that exactly?
You’re not on HGH, you’re on TRT. You can’t compared two.
He knows that @systemlord. He is being a hypochondriac and saying “what if down the road they find out trt causes cancer”. @mightyt if your tripping over some little testosterone shots that make you feel amazing and have increased your quality of life then maybe it’s not for you. I back you up either way boss. Your gonna be alright either way.
Normal levels none other than infertility. At you age that is a good concern and a reason to use HCG
thank you everyone for putting in your thoughts and @alldayeverday for backing me lol. If you guys vote on saying its all good keep it up than i will stay on it
thank you everyone. this make me feel better. i love this forum and just want the best journey in this life.
I got your back boss. Your gonna be stressing out about testosterone shots, get distracted and accidentally get hit by a bus and none of this mattered anyways. Enjoy your life. Make the most of it. Do something big (I ain’t talking about women). Take your little T shots and be happy. It’s all good buddy.
I’m 29 and starting trt for life. I’ve tried restarting several times and haven’t had any luck, my test is also bottom of the range. One thing I will say, be sure that you actually feel better inside from being on it and it’s not just being masked by how you look on the outside and how THAT makes you feel. There is a big difference. Ksman has said in a few threads that there are indeed studies that show men with higher levels of testosterone live long then those with low levels.
