Does Turinabol Cause More Side Effects?

Does turinabol cause more hair loss & more sides than other oral steroids? I’m not susceptible to hair loss but I just want to discuss before hoping back on. I was on T-bol about 8 or so months ago at about 30mg/day for 5 weeks & 300mg/wk of Test-E for 10 weeks and either got decently bad body & jawline acne post cycle either because I missed a few injections and did it the morning after (which you should never do) or because I was on an oral substance which was new to my body. Or both (I’m highly susceptible to acne).

I did notice a little acne to flare up during week 6 when I completed the T-bol but it didn’t get insanely bad until post cycle. I’m 4 months out from post cycle currently and still have a little acne lingering on my jawline and chest. I have Test E 300 and T-bol currently on the way from pharmacom’s brand (make sure you use the correct site & do research) which I used in the past and have had results from. In summary what kind of side effects generally come from T-bol especially at my dosage (ie. hair loss & acne. Not really worried about gyno but im sure someone reading might like to know), what you think about the cycle I’m going to run (for the purpose as my description below & also age, acne prone, hair loss fear (but not genetically prone) knock on wood) and what vitamins people may take to prevent sides and where they come from.

I haven’t been working out since Dec. 10 because I’m studying for a huge test on the 4th of Jan. I lost weight but still held on to a decent amount of muscle considering my lack of activity. Prior to my cycle ending I went from 205-227. I got back in to MMA so the pounds shed quick and I went down to 212 before my studies. Since I can’t currently work out or maintain pristine macros I’m at 200-203. I’m mainly on cycle because I suffered from a torn labrum post sarm cycle (first cycle) in sep 2017 and stupidly kept lifting causing myself hamstring, elbow tendonitis, minor lower back pain, minor neck pain, still have posterior shoulder pain (surgery in 2018), and minor exterior hip pain. All on the right side.

I’ve done everything around the sun to recover. Including rest and haven’t cured it and still have minor constant joint pain in all regions discussed. I’m 25 and I honestly really just want to be able to train as a high level athlete still and I feel that this pain is never going to go away. I of course lift smart and also change my routine but with all those problems it’s kind of impossible. Even walking will cause a little inflammation. I plan on competing in jiu-jitsu and before someone attacks me most people of high level in jits are openly using and I plan on working my way in to that realm joint pains or not.

Currently,
(Been lifting for 9 maybe 10 yr. in athletics my whole life)
10-12% Bf
age:25
Ht: 6’2"
Wt:200-204

Peak prior to break
Wt: 227lb
8-9% Bf via a machine at the gym

Cycle I plan to run,
Test e- 300mg/wk 1 injection every 3 days 9-10 weeks
T-bol 20mg a day for 4-5 weeks (maybe 30 but acne scares me, might just go test only)
weeks 12-16
wk 1-2
Nolvadex 40mg/day Clomid 50mg/day
wk 2-4
Nolvadex 20mg/day Clomid 25mg/day

100% unrelated to the tbol. Acne is pretty common at the start and finish of a cycle because you’re creating a huge change in your hormones. Tbol doesn’t aromatize and it’s probably one of the more acne-friendly orals out there. That said, pretty much any time you mess with your hormones there exists the potential for it to cause issues.

Hmmm interesting. I’ll keep that in mind. You think it might have been the late injections (making hormones imbalance)? Or the fact that my PCT was clomid only at 50mg 2 wk then 25 mg 2 wk? I saw on MPMD that it’s best to do a full protocol with (nolvadex & clomid) (although the post was talking about sarms) the pct was posted in the comment above. And with the hair loss question does the t-bol give of dht or block it I saw it’s an anabolic derivative but it was called a DHT derivative in many misleading studies & posts. I’m waiting for my acne to go away before I hop on any supplements but I do have a protocol that I found online from a trt doctor for acne prevention and skin cell health
-Fish oil
-VitaminB5 3x750mg/day
-Zinc 30mg/day
-L carnatine 3x250mg/day
-use of black African soap
-retin a 2x a day
-moisturizer
Please share how you feel if you have any opinions or advice and thanks for the info you’ve already shared. :call_me_hand:t3:

Up the B5 intake significantly: 2 x 5 gr/day.
Zinc in picolinate form: 2 x 25 mg/day.
Pycnogenol: 2 x 60 mg/day.
Until it clears.
B5 in that ammount may make you feel like sh*t, tired and diarrhea, but you’ll get used to it/will stop in a couple of days.

That could be part of it. Or you could have run a steady protocol and still gotten acne. It’s a response to fluctuations and can be caused by a ton of different factors. Hormonal acne is a possible side effect of pretty much anything when it comes to steroids and then recovery. Hard to avoid if you’re predisposed to it. I had some mild body acne for a few weeks after starting trt, but after that I’ve never had an issue. All luck of the draw.

Tbol is sort of a derivative of dianabol, which is of course ultimately a derivative of testosterone. It does not does not convert to DHT. It’s also pretty weak as an androgenic. That being said most steroids come with the risk of hair thinning if you’re prone to it. Some are obviously worse than others, but none of them (save nandrolone) are fully safe on the hairline.

I thought it was one of the better-tolerated orals, actually. Doesn’t mean it’s not without side effects tho

Huh, how come?

Meh. No disrespect to the internet’s hormone-hero, but taking two SERMs isn’t gonna speed anything up but I see ppl suggesting this. Pick the one you tolerate the most and use it for 4-6 weeks. Even then, a PCT isn’t a guarantee that you’ll fully recover after a cycle.

I was busy with life and some days I’d completely forget I was pinning go to classes and get home and just pass out. I’d be “like fuck I forgot to inject” in the morning and immediately inject my normal dose. But I would always notice if I mess up even my a day I get a few big ass pimples. Or I just full on break out in general. So the acne might partially be due to the missed shots. That’s why this time around I’m gonna make it an extremely high priority to inject once every 3 days in the morning (I’m less busy now).

Awesome thanks! This gives me a little more confidence running the T-bol again. I’ll probably keep it around 30mg instead of 20. I got really good results on 30 but was in a little acne scare.

Nice I honestly might up the B-5 today. I skimmed through a discussion on it on MPMD but didn’t get to finish my observation of weather or not I’m gonna do it at that dose. But after actually seeing a bunch of results on Reddit I’m going to look in to it because those were solid results. How long did it take for you to clear up or see some sort of change? One post I saw said 5 days.

Interesting. Given the longer HL and build up of the hormones over time, I can’t imagine 12-15 hours making a difference. Maybe your SHBG is very low and fluctuations are high? Have you checked that?

They might be high but not THAT high. This just sounds a bit fishy, but then again its not that big of a deal to care about too much anyways.

Here’s a (acne) reference photo from recent time so y’all can all get an idea. Excuse the physique. Like I said prior I been studying for a huge test and haven’t been able to do any working out in a little under a month.

To be genuinely honest no (I knowww I’m stupid lol). But I’ve been looking in to doing blood work before I start this cycle and getting more educated when it comes to the effects of estrogen, DHT, lipids and such that apply. What might be signs of low or high SHGB? Like decreased sex drive or extreme increased sex drive (might be a dumb question). Also, are the blood tests generally around $400+? I saw a lot of that online labeled “bodybuilding bloodwork”. If so I’ll just call my Kaiser insurance and tell them I was on gear and I wanna run my blood and see if they cover and how that goes. Lol

Yeah don’t tell Kaiser that. They hate anything male-hormone related (in my experience).
