I’ve been thinking about getting some and have been looking around. Most of the research that I have found states that it does not actually do anything. What are the experiences and opinions of you guys?
I am interested in the possible Testosterone enhancing aspects of Tribulus.
tried Alpha Male at max dosage and had no experiences that would indicate it boosted my testosterone at all, but I did gain muscle and lose fat. I attribute this to the Carbolin 19 (pure forskolin), I don’t think the test-boosting compounds including tribulus had any effect in my case. I’m 25 and by all informal indicators my test is at a healthy level to begin with so YMMV.
on the subject of enhanced test. levels, i think non-supplement methods are severely underrated. I found that eating a diet with whole foods, adequate calories and frequent meals, combined with making a commitment to getting enough sleep, had a combined effect of boosting my strength gains, muscle mass and libido significantly. maybe you are already doing all that stuff but if not, the effects can be pretty dramatic
In the near future I will obtain bloodwork after approximately 1 month of TRIBEX Gold supplementation, and will be able to compare this to pre-TRIBEX levels under fairly controlled conditions. I’ll make a thread about it when I get the results.
Taking tribulus is what clued me in to my low testosterone levels. The effects after a couple weeks were astounding, but YMMV. I also started with a different brand before I found T-Nation. If your levels are already high, you might not notice a thing.
Just understand that it takes at least 2 weeks before you’ll notice anything.
Increased libido, longer rolls in the sheets, more energy in the gym, better mood overall. It’s got my vote. Age may have something to do with it 43 here. I wouldn’t bother with it until I was over 35.

I will certainly be keeping my eye out for your results.
I am cutting at the moment and am looking at ways to enhance my mood, aggression and energy.

i’m going with just Carbolin 19 for now[/quote]
It sounds like you had some superb results on Alpha Male.
I am already taking HOT-ROX so I will not be considering Alpha Male. I might start taking it after I complete the cut.

I did, and I continue to now with the Carbolin 19. My training and diet have been very consistent during the time period I’ve been on the supps which is definitely key (after shelling out money for the supps I wasn’t about to waste it by fucking up my end of the bargain)
I’d recommend the Carbolin 19 to anyone, and the Alpha Male is worth a try IMO especially if you think lower test might be an issue (seems like guys who aren’t horny 20-somethings are reporting more positively about the tribulus)
