Hey guys. I started taking 20mg micronised progesterone cream each night a while back to try and assist with some post finasteride issues, it’s pretty common in that sphere. Can’t say I noticed much either way. But when I got bloods drawn my E2 was through the roof, 50% higher than usual and I’m usually high normal. I’d been tinkering with my protocol in general to try finally get dialled in and moved to ED shots from EOD had caused my TT to double so clearly some of the increase in was from that but just wanted to get others thoughts on whether progesterone cream increases aromatisation or directly increases E2 via another method? Funnily enough on a slide show a Dr did on post finasteride he recommended rubbing progesterone cream on the Nipples if you had gyno issues which is odd if it increases E2 levels. Cheers.
I thought progesterone opposed estrogen (hence using it to reverse gyno)
Progesterone opposes estrogen by decreasing the number of receptors available for estrogen. Progesterone also inhibits breast cell growth.

does that mean as man i could take even 100 mg daily?
What is the typical dose for trt ?
