Haven’t been logging my workouts - no fear, have been bro splitting it up - chest and tris, back traps and bis, legs, shoulders. Abs every other day. My sets and reps have been less volume than your typical bro split - usually a top set followed by a set with some intensity technique like dropsets, rest-pause or forced reps. Smaller muscles have gotten a pretty typical 3-4 sets in the 8-15 rep range. It’s just not that exciting or targeted, which is why i don’t feel like writing it down, but it’s effective and my strength has stayed put.
Just figured I’d update everyone and make a note for myself in the future that this was only a break in logging, not exercising. I’ll draw up something more concrete soon. School continues to go well.

Just knocked out a quick shoulders and tris day

Standing OHP, 155 1x5, 135 3x10

Superset cable y raises and cable lateral raises for 3 sets, 3x12 each

Cable shoulder press 12 on the stack 3x15

Cable tri ext 3x15 superset with diamond pushups 3xfailure

Not much time, just wanted to get some work done, have a pretty big psych test today, have already spent ~3 hours preparing, need to take a break and clear my mind. Will take it at 530 when my wife’s home from work and can watch the kids.

Did a superset/giant set-based workout today.

Weighted chins (slow negatives) superset with Pushups
+45 5x5, 5x30 pushups

Max set of BW chins

Cable rows superset with seated BB OHP
14 on the stack 3x10, 155 2x8, 1x11 (failure)

Giant Set
Wide grip pullups (super slow negatives), Rope pullovers, Lateral Raises
3xfailure with a hold @90 degrees on the last rep, 6 on the stack 3x12, 20s 3x20

Single arm preacher cable curls
Few sets to failure, last set drop set.

It’s out of our hands. I keep praying that the corruption will be held accountable and the results will be legitimate.

I “care” who wins but not as much as I need a fair process. If election corruption goes unchecked then we’re in deep trouble. And I’m not taking either side on the topic. Everything I see points the finger at Dems but I’m not so naive to think it’s not possible for my party. What a shame.

Ehh, I’d disagree. All claims of voter fraud have already been investigated by republican led panels for the last 4 years, so the claims of “millions of illegals” was bogus, and now we have the President, who’s supposed to represent all citizens, suing only the places he might lose to get ballots thrown out.

Keep in mind, the head of the USPS, at Trump’s direction, cut overtime, removed ballot boxes, and is now under fire for deliberately refusing to ensure that 300,000 ballots were counted. Trump has been spinning these fraud stories for months because he knew that’s how a lot of people would be voting, but every single thing that’s happening right now is pointing to voter suppression.

There’s absolutely nothing sketchy about counting votes after Election Day. If you like, I can find you Trump’s tweet from 2016 where, 26 days after Election Day, he gleefully declared that he had finally won Michigan after a delay in Vote counting. Now, 24 hours after Election Day, when votes have always been continued to be counted, he’s suing to have them stopped.

Guy’s got no problem calling anything late when it’s for him, but he wants to stop counting votes where he might lose, 24 days earlier than last time.

The reason I added that I’m not fooled into thinking it’s only the Democrats is because I know the information I see is from like minded people. We gravitate towards things that make us feel good and agree with our views. I’m not really friends with any zealous Democrats so the things I’m exposed to on social media tend to favor conservatives.

Regardless, I just wish we could have a fair process without any doubt. It gets worse every election.

@kdjohn illustrated how I’d do it otherwise, but my gym has a machine specifically for cable shoulder press, with a seat with a slight lean and two low cables on either side of it. If you lean back a bit it’s also great for upper chest.

Agreed - and I like that you’re open to hearing things on both sides, and aware of exposure bias. We need more of that. I’m not a fan of Trump, but you know I’m a big fan of police, so hopefully both sides do their part to keep things calm in the days to come, no matter who wins. You guys have been through enough.

Those trap bar Deads with the 5 second eccentric have trashed me. I had to come home and do 2 hours of math work and another hour of psych work, and it’s a beautiful day and I am about to take the kids to a playground, but if I’m being honest I just want to go upstairs and sleep.

Edit: I also just realized I put 380 for the 5x5 when it was 350
