Thanks, dude. Getting back into school is big for me, and big pressure as well, especially since I come from a family of neuroscientists and my brother just won the Weintraub award after getting his PhD at Rockefeller, haha. Big shoes to fill.

Abs Calves and Conditioning

Ab crunch machine
125 5x10

Captains chair leg raises superset with bosu ball crunches 3x20 ea

Standing calf raise
100 5x10, 5 second eccentric and 2 second pause in stretch

5 rounds heavy bag work, pretty much all-out the whole time

5 minutes of bob/weave work using my hand wrap tied to my keys and hanging them from a pull-up bar, swinging them back and forth and dodging them. Got hit in the back of the head a few times but mostly was able to keep good speed and head movement.

Seated OHP off pins at eyebrow height

Worked up to 165 1x5, wasn’t too difficult but didn’t want to push it, did one backdown set at 135 for 12 quick reps

Incline DBs 4x10

Lat pulldowns 4x10

Rear delt flys on incline Bench 3x10

SSB Squats
Worked up to 185x5 what the fuck, such an awkward exercise, felt like I was being pitched over. Went ass to grass though, lots of knee flexion.

Single leg leg extensions
4x12

Trap bar Deads
290 4x10

Back extensions
3x20

SSB squats suck, I suck at squatting, and I really suck at squatting with the SSB.

Which, unfortunately means, I should do it more.

I thought about you at the gym last night. There was a dude who was doing boxing training. Grey sweat pants and sweat shirt, old style no hood or anything, and a black toboggan with the bottles rolled up. Looked like a mini rocky
