Seasoned ground beef and white rice is such a good dish. So filling.

How much weight are you up so far?

I think i was around 205-6, so an approximate 10 pounds in 2 weeks, although about 8 of the pounds hit in the first week, then I stabilized, and now seem to be putting on it slowly.

How does the extra weight feel? Are you noticing a difference? You’re still moving your own body a ton, so I assume that helps

Honestly, yeah, all the bodyweight assistance stuff has made the transition easier. 206 is just what I was sitting at then, I was sub 200 at my lowest last year so it’s nearly 20 lbs of weight. But I’m doing 100 pullups and 100 dips on mondays and 3-4 days a week of hard conditioning with bodyweight exercises too. Pullups are the most noticeable difference, but I just feel different, not worse - I feel strong as opposed to light.

I think my HR spiked just by reading this.

Can confirm. Lights a fire in your metabolism and forearms like nothing else, even with decent rest periods.

Now you’re just bragging.

Writing it this way makes it seem like you were doing a plank, lifted up from the ground limb by limb, then floated around the world in 1 minute.

…then rest 15 sec.

Arms are still growing, shoulders too, and waist is roughly the same @TrainForPain. I can’t say I’ll sustain this but I’ve been doing stuff almost every day and my conditioning is getting pretty solid.

Just smashed my evening workout, first from deepwater:
1 minute plank and 20 sit ups x3 no rest
@T3hPwnisher this was simple but pretty fucking hard…
Then
100 crunches
200 jumping jacks
100 Superman’s

Well, I’m sold.

If you really want an arsekicker and you have an afternoon free try:

1km double bodyweight walks
1000 kettlebell swings (I used 36kg)

Break up as you see fit. Best served with burgers on the grill. I did them in my backyard over the course of an afternoon, with plenty of burgers eaten in between.

Good things going on in here Flap! Just playing some catch up. Food pics are making me hungry, I love me some eggs and beef.
Nice job on the DIY rack!

Thanks buddy. Squat and presses coming up soon in my rain-soaked backyard. Currently drinking too-strong coffee for motivation, which means soon I’ll have to take a shit, then I’ll have to get after it, I suppose.

What the fuck, bro?

Notice I said afternoon. This isn’t something to do for time, but i figure most people have time on their hands right now.

I did it a few years ago with a sunny arvo free, a few disposable barbies and plenty of meat.

That sounds like my kinda torture. Especially seeing as my backyard is still under almost 1 foot of snow.

Today:
Squat
170x5
185x5 (supposed to be 190, kids were making noise, came out and forgot to add the 2.5’s)
215 5x5

Press
100x5
115x5
130x5
100x15

Had to wait almost an hour for my wife to get home with the car so I could drive to the school where there’s a pullup bar and workout in the rain. Noone else was there, was kind of nice just getting muddy and dirty.

100 pullups and 100 pushups broken up in to 10x10, and every time I did 10 pullups and 10 pushups I would run over and do a sprint around the mini track they have there, probably less than 1/8th of a mile - it’s tiny but got me gassed. Good workout. Had to drink a protein shake to keep energy up though.
