First and foremost I want to tell you that when you call me sifu I must call you sifu as well, because in the moment I relate to you or anyone else of you brothers and sisters, I am helping yourself and I am also being helped by you all. about your abs and belief systems that you are reinforcing, so to prevent yourself to get the shredded level that you prefer, you must discover them, and you have paramount indicator in your emotions… so you should find yourself in a peaceful state and start thinking to those abs that are not as you want and see what type of emotion comes out… then you need to own that emotion…as your creation. you can tell to yourself: ok I feel _________________ and if feel _____________ it is because I have choosen it! and if I choosen it is because it serves me!
this will break the negative loop in your brain.
now you can ask to yourself: what is that I believe to be true about myself for choosing something that feels so different from what I prefer?
At this point you need to quiet yourself, use your imagination and see what happens…
it is helpful also to tell yourself: ok I do not know what is happening and that is OK.
all those stuff help you making things transparent , as a choice of yourself… so you can discover a core belief, a belief system that does not match who you really are and prefer to be, now it is up to you, to make the choice ridefining yourself the way you prefer.
The ego as I said keeps reinforcing belief system for surviving, because it believes that if you do not count on it anymore it will die… but actually it can’t die, because we cannot live without the ego, without the physical mind: it has a task to accomplish: experience things once they are happenED.
As I mentioned though it usually wants to take up also the job of the higher mind, that means it wants to know even HOW THINGS HAPPENS. but it cannot, because it is not built for it… and if it tries it will exaust itself and you will be stuck in a reality you do not prefer… but actually you are still creating always the same, moment after moment
Every moment is totally disconnected from any other one, and you are new at any moment!
Continuity and linear time are just an illusion we choosen to experience reality , but actually there is no time… Everything happens now, and past and future are just perceptions that we hav e in the now

I understand fully what you meant, but it blows my mind that you think it makes you special. I mean, shit, it takes WEEKS for your “powers” to manifest themselves. I can think about obscure songs and within minutes they pop on the radio. This happens to me all of the time but I don’t believe I have “the gift”. It’s the law of probability in your case man. You think of an episode of a show. They run episodes in syndication. If given enough time [in your case, a couple of weeks] that episode will come up. Pretty simple really.

A couple of years ago my then girlfriend were in the car and she was telling me some story about her favorie song as a kid. I kept ribbing her that it was “I can’t wait” by Nu Shooz. She kept telling me it wasn’t but I kept fucking with her. We went back and forth for a bit before I got tired of her pointless story, changed the channel on the radio and “I can’t wait” by Nu Shooz was playing. We both looked at eachother and she said “That was really weird” in a creeped out voice. This was 2007. There was no reason for that song to be on the radio. I have moments like this all of the time. Dreams, thoughts, etc… that somehow manifest themselves shortly after I have them. It’s pretty weird, but I think everyone has something like it.

OP: This happens to me a lot: I’ll have a song pop in my head, and not some song I listen to on the reg or have in my ipod, but some bullshit ass song. Some shit I have no business having pop in my head, but none-the-less there it is, playing along like an mp3 in my brain.
Anyways, whenever this happens, almost 100% of the time, I’ll hear it within 10 minutes of having it pop in my head.
Here’s an example: When I was in basic training, we had to go to the clinic to get immunizations. On the march there Madonna’s “Holiday” popped in my head. Now, this struck me as odd because, well, I’m in basic fuckin’ training and “Holiday” is playing on loop in my head. As we entered the clinic the song playing over the p.a. was fucking Madonna’s “Holiday” …
This shit happens a lot, and it’s not just foo-foo chick songs, but like old songs. Songs that I might have heard once or twice on my life will pop in my head, then within 10 minutes I’ll hear it on the radio, or in the grocery store or some random ass place.
Do I akin this to a special power? Not at all. I akin it to pure fucking coincidence.
You don’t have special powers aside from writing some cool ass horror stories. Stick to that.
