I’ve been on Testim gel for about 6 months and it seems to be working as far as increasing my T levels. I found an unexpected, creepy consequence of using it though. I put it on in the morning (usually apply at night) and drove an hour for my nephew’s football game.
My mother in law and her sister (both around 80 years old) were there. I hugged them and they both commented on how good I smelled. I brushed it off to the deodorant I was using. A few hours later while sitting by them at lunch, they mentioned how good I smelled again.
When I went to use the bathroom I took a good sniff of my shirt and I could smell the Testim. I had read women really like the smell, but 80 year relatives, WTF???

I have had this happen. Woman walked up to me in the grocery store and told me that I smelled good. She also said she wished her husband smelled as good and looked as good as I do.
Am considering going back on Testim. But my doc wants to bump me up to 200 mg per week by IM, so the gels may be history for me.
