Disney's Agenda Leaked

It could be several things. One of them being, I have a hard time trusting this source. That’s not on you, you should be able to trust this source, but they are activists in the transgender arena. So their data may or may not be correct, but even if it is, that is a small portion of the potentially permanently damaging practices advocated by these maniacs.
I would hope somebody who want’s to cut their dick off is damn sure they want to.
That aside, testosterone for girls, estrogen for boys is also permanently damaging. Puberty blockers? Talk about small dick sydrom. You give a kid that and they will have 2 inch penis the rest of their lives, if they don’t transition. There’s a lot more than full reassignment surgery.

Yeah, some lady on NPR was saying that the puberty blockers didn’t have any serious side effects, and that the individual changed their mind they could just stop taking them. I was thinking if this individual is male, that they are going to be rocking a micro the rest of their lives, with narrow shoulders, a soft face… That is a big deal IMO.

Bullshit… That’s a very narrow interpretation, based on, on-label usage. If you are using it for children with early onset puberty, the risk is minimal. If it’s off-labeled use at the start or during natural puberty, it stunts the development of the sex organs, period. It’s really dangerous shit.
Puberty blockers exist because there is a disorder, where 9 yr old girls start getting their periods and haven’t started to grow. So early onset puberty is where certain parts of a person, typically girls, but also boys, where some parts of puberty start and others don’t. That’s what the drug’s intended use is.
You cannot use the results of on-label use and apply it to a totally different group who is using it for the hell of it, or for some fucked up ideology.
If this were adults choosing to fuck up their own bodies I could care less. But when you use children as a vessel to to push your stupidity and they will be victims of it for the rest of their lives, I got big issues with that.

This is something we agree on. I don’t think it is consistent to think that the age of consent for a decision like having sex is 18, but that for a decision like taking hormones or hormone blockers that a 12 year old is capable of making that decision.

I’m only about 10 minutes into this, and I will finish the video in good faith, but so far I have to say that it reeks of propaganda and hyperbole. I’m watching with an open mind (otherwise I wouldn’t be watching at all). It’s very hard to take seriously, but I will do my best.

From the book I recommended in this thread, and pertinent to the discussion.

Note the author uses the word **homosexualists”, not homosexuals.

Edit: the second page here precedes the first.

I forgot where I read or viewed such content, but there have been accounts of some FTM’s who transitioned partly because they desired the benefits of “male privilege” but then after “transitioning” realized the lack of perks most mid-to-low-tier men have.

The pool of potential partners going from an average woman to a low tier man I imagine shrinks by more than 10X.

I’d rather have a surplus of attention with some of it being unwanted, than the close to zero attention less desirable men receive.

There are experiments on YouTube where women have to try to get dates on tinder with other women while posing as a man (generally one that most people would deem to be about as attractive as the woman). The common thing between these is the woman realizes how shitty it is to be a man in regards to having options. They go from having 50 matches a week to 1-2. They realize that can’t talk to woman the way they talk to men (they have to drive the conversation, or it fizzles out).

@mnben87 @BrickHead Do you mean to tell me that men have it more difficult in society?

Y’all two are sexist pigs.

Every time I hear DeSantis speak, I fall in love just a little more. No homo. Okay, maybe a little homo.

You have to have an extraordinarily good profile as a man on a dating site to really have a decent experience. And even when you have that, most women will still swipe left. Often because they just assume your profile is fake. I haven’t been on tinder/bumble for awhile now, but when I was on there, I learned a lot about trying to create a profile that would appeal to women at a decent rate. I actually removed some of the better pictures of myself because I was getting a LOT of feedback that they just assumed I was fake, stealing pictures from a model or whatever. And I’m not even THAT attractive lol. If you have ANY professional pictures on Tinder, you’re not getting matches. Women have such a different experience on dating sites from men.

Jesus Christ he’s awful.

I don’t like how Desantis started this interview. He suggested that Disney was trying to ‘overturn’ the legislation and ‘commandeer’ the democratic process, and I don’t think that’s an accurate depiction. Disney voiced an opinion, they didn’t fight the legislation in court. They spoke freely about their OPINION on the issue, but I really don’t see that as running counter to the democratic process in any way. There was no action taken to ‘overturn the rights of parents’. I think that’s just silly, but I guess it gets his base excited to say that’s what happened. A lot of strawman in this segment too. A lot of what he says in the second half of the interview about what people want in general I think is pretty accurate, he just misrepresents what ‘the left’ wants, as a whole. Things like ‘I want women to be able to participate in sports’… I mean, come on. Most people, left and right, think the transgender athlete thing is a big problem. Almost nobody is actually on, say, Lia Thompson’s side.

The problem is that reasonable Democrat voters seem to be okay with these outcomes, or believe them to be better than what they imagine the alternative to be.

If they were fringe policies there wouldn’t be so many concerning examples manifesting all over the country at all levels of government and society.

Your average Democrat may not want to trans the kids, defund the police, decriminalize crime or give some dude your daughters athletic scholarship, but the average Democrat still votes for those who do.

If they didn’t, absurd woke policies would have never left college campuses.

And here we are today, with the President insisting that more kids need to be pumped full of hormones and surgically mutilated for their own well-being.

Yes, but the difference is that many leftists won’t speak out against trans athletes. I think really the issue here isn’t so much that DeSantis misrepresents what the left wants, I think the left misrepresents what the left wants.

Agree that much of it was strawman, but beautifully crafted strawman at that.

I haven’t actually ever used one, but I have observed some of my friends. One a good looking dude, in shape, mechanical engineer, super nice… He gets occasional matches. The other is a woman, but I don’t particularly think she is cute, or really charming. She gets at least 10X the matches of my male friend. Maybe he should take the picture of himself doing barbell rows off his profile? Or maybe just go out into the real world, because I have heard women comment that they think he is attractive.

I loled. You’re not wrong though. I debated on a national level in high school, and I’ve carried that with me since then, so things like this are just an irritant to me. But I know it resonates well with most people.

lol! So I would say it depends on how the picture looks. I used to have at least one picture of myself competing in strongman on my profile, because it WAS important to me that I emphasized that part of my life. It’s a part of my identity. And that went over well with a lot of women. But gym selfies and non-competition pics are not the best, unless you’re trying to attract a very specific type of woman and you don’t mind barely getting any ‘likes’.

I basically used a ‘social gathering picture’, meant to indicate that I liked to go out and have a good time. it was not a posed picture. I used a selfie of me in a dress shirt. And a competition picture. Sometimes 1 or 2 additional pictures, 3 is really the bare minimum for a good profile. But that was my ‘base’.

That’s a tough road too, I find that to be tougher than online dating, in all honesty. It could be that I’m just not trying hard enough in ‘the real world’ when I’m looking for a potential match, but it’s REALLY hard to find myself in a social situation with women I’d be interested in, who are also single.

Hey Flip, It starts very cringey for sure, sensationalist, overblown. Its also quite long. Even I had trouble with it at first.
Once the blackboard comes out he starts to make some good observations though.

I have no background in CS. How would I know lol? Everything I picked up was for work and general interest and the current course I’m taking. If you ask me to use hotkeys on mundane stuff like an excel spreadsheet, I wouldn’t even know how to lol.

Okok, seriously, I did ask the PHD dude I have on retainer and he said it depends on what jobs are available, how much are you paid in your area and your subject of interest. My dude does network infrastructure and security and/or stress tests them. He works mainly as a consultant and manages projects. The fellow only writes programs in his free time.

So the upper echelon would be developing management and networking (as in marketing yourself and establishing relationships with people with utility in your career) skills. You don’t wanna be doing grunt work all your life.

Hope this makes sense. If I were you and still in real school, I’d go badger all the lecturers with real world experience prior to taking up teaching as a career for advice on this. I really don’t have enough knowledge to comment.

If you want to know stuff like the projects I’ve been getting, the bigger ones are mostly stuff to do with setting up networks and realtime workflows customized for client demands since so many people were working from home.

The most important part about his, however, isn’t the project, It’s the type of solutions needed since there are various cloud providers already offering them. So identifying and recommending proper solutions according to their needs so their budgets aren’t wasted on needless stuff. And stress testing security is needed because such clients really don’t want their systems fucked with or info leaked. Which is why I have my guy on retainer.

Other than that, more businesses, even sole proprietorships wanted to go digital cos they couldn’t open and relied on income from consumer purchases online so full stack web development was needed.

Math makes me angry and want to destroy stuff.

I made it through Calc 2 and Analytic Geometry, barely.

That’s pretty awesome. The crew I used to work out with didn’t make it past general math. 600 lb squat and passing integral calculus is a darn good accomplishment. Very impressive.

Calc 2 was the worst. The next few math classes got easier after that.
