I was hit by a car when I was 14, I spent a week in the hospital. I remember after the third day I tried to watch TV. The Jungle Book was playing on one of the channels, I tried watching it but I kept getting nauseous. Really weird.

Who cares? I reuse code when I’m programming all the time. If you have something already in place that will accomplish exactly what you need it to do of course you’re not gonna redesign an entirely new one.

Programming and cartoons are very different things.
Not surprising. If you look at the history of art, for several hundred years the European art academia borrowed poses from Greek antiquity.

my youtube isnt working
but recently we had to do an ambiguity paper for psych class, write a pro and con paper for the same subject
after that we had to write another paper based on on what our ACTUAL stance was
so i just used my pro paper again and added a couple extra things to it from the prof’s corrections.
one slight mixup was that i didnt know she wanted it in business letter format so i got the comment “not sure how this is a business letter but its well written” i got a 90. it pays to recycle.

I reuse jokes too, if I’m speaking to someone who hasn’t heard a particular quip of mine. My point is nobody is going to do unnecessary work when something is already available that will accomplish what they need it to.

Me and plenty others apparently care. And Disney aside, the video was edited nicely to be interesting on its own.
On a related note, it’s a good argument to slash copyright down a notch. I can’t help but think the Disney crew would have gotten more creative had they not enjoyed state-sponsored monopoly.

I go to an Art Institute (of Houston to be exact) do you know long and tedious the process is to actually draw out frame-by-frame animation? Granted im not an animator but the way they describe is that if they didnt reuse some of the cels,theyd fucking go crazy from drawing every little action. Speed Racer,anyone?
