Different Way for Doc to Write Script

Currently I am on the following regiment for HRT from my doctor:
Test cypionate 200mg 1ml wk
HCG 2000u vial 250 units twice a week
Anastrozole 0.1mg capsule 5 days a week

Because of the HCG and Anastrozole script, two pharmacies have told me they have to be compounded. This of course raises the price. About $65 for the HCG and $40 for the Anastrozle per month. Not that bad for a onetime thing, but if I am going to be on this treatment long term that will really add up. I am going back to my doc in a couple of months for my blood work and evaluation. If everything is looking okay on this regiment, is there another way I could perhaps ask my doc to consider writing this so it would not have to be compounded?

As for as the Test Cypionate, my insurance is paying for part of it, but only if I get it filled with 4 1ml vials each month. The copay for this is $56. The original script was written for 1 10ml vial. Looks like if I just get that filled next time at a different pharmacy it will be less over 10 weeks of injections. Lowest price I have found around town is $97 cash price. Is this pretty good or are there legit online pharmacies which are cheeper?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Outside of the cost, the good news is I feel great on this protocol!!!

For anastrozole, just have them script you generic anastrozole and get a pill cutter and cut it into halves and quarters. A 1 mg pill can be divided up to four 0.25 mg pieces. If this isn’t good enough for you (I cant imagine why it wouldnt be) you can also dissolve it in vodka and dose accordingly.

Not sure about the hcg, but you should probably just get one of the name brands and use it accordingly.

You can get Test Cyp (Watsons Brand) from Costco for about 55 bucks without insurance. Your insurance copay may be less if your doc writes your script as a one month supply, even for the 10 mL bottle…you would basically just only go refill your “one month supply” every 3 months.

Most need 1mg anastrozole per week per 100mg T ester per week. You would appear to be underdosed by a factor of 4 unless you are an anastrozole over-responder.

Post your lab work when available, come back to this post to do that.

Ask if you can have your labs moved up and test for TT and E2 at very least.

Doc should be testing for PSA as well to cover his butt.

T also cheap at Sam’s Club, but only with a Biz membership. These prices only apply when paying cash. If you process via insurance, you will pay normal prices.

HCG is HCG, compounding is not called for, but can be cheaper from a compounder. Get 10,000iu vials.

You will be better off with hCG 250iu EOD.

Why did your doc script T 200mg/week? That is excessive.
