I’m surprised none of my fellow Brits has mentioned “bollocks”, which our American friends may not be aware of.
Here in the UK a few years back we had a national radio station called Talk Radio (before it became Talk Sport) on which they had 24 hour phone-ins (no music - a radical concept over here but probably very common in the USA) and one of the DJ’s called up a lost property office in the USA and the conversation went something like this:
DJ: Hi, I wonder if you could help. I’ve lost my bollocks and wondered if anyone had hadn’t them in?
Lost Property Guy (LPG): You’ve lost your what?
DJ: My bollocks. Have you seen them?
LPG: What do they look like?
DJ: Two balls in a bag.
LPG: Oh, right. [noise of looking around] How big are they?
DJ: Well, one ball is bigger than the other.
LPG: And what about the bag? What colour is it?
DJ: The bag is quite loose and it’s pink.
And so it went on - feckin’ hilarious.
This is only funny if you know what bollocks are of course
