Did Something Stupid Tonight

Secondly, I can’t believe you looked at some guy that was staring you down and asked if he had a problem. You are supposed to keep looking forward with both hands on the wheel while your head is pressed up against the headrest if someone does that to you, silly.

I suggest you buy a dictionary because my intelligent mind ONLY understands proper English. I also suggest that you buy a set of fake testicles to hang on the bumper of your car, because that kid wouldn’t have stared you down if he’d seen that you had balls in the first place.~!*
You don’t have to be a genius to write a legible post on an online forum. His point came across via context, but it completely paints him as a neanderthal. It also paints you as a relativist college hippy for defending it.

Maybe you don’t think that the ability to communicate is a valuable tool. Thats probably why you will be shoveling shit for a living if you ever grow up.

He did the right thing by backing down. He should never have acted like a badass in the first place. Consider the big picture next time.

First off, if we’re getting the point via context, why is there a need to comment on his grammar and only that? No shit it’s bad grammar. He’s typing on an internet forum to a bunch of clowns behind computer screens, not to the CEO of some company.

I know he did the right thing by backing down. Some people here seemed appalled that he actually looked back at the guy. What’s the big deal? People usually always look at each other when passing or getting passed. Yes, it’s stupid to take it any farther because people are crazy these days, but come on.

Hippy? No.

Shoveling shit? Yes, I will be shoveling shit after I pull my communication tool out of your ass.

I suggest that instead of giving him “the usual” you could have made your night less intense by returning his hard look with a blank stare, maybe a yawn, followed by another blank stare. You gave this punk the power to piss you off by letting him get under your skin.

Yeah, you’re right, I’m working on it…that would have been classic though, thanks. I didn’t realize that they put this over here, and that’s why I haven’t been here to answer shit…

What did this guy’s forearms have to do with anything?
I was in the moment birdbrain…hey it’s your avatar…lol.

My grammar is usually pretty strong buddy, but having been in that situation right before that post, it was quick and messy, sorry if you couldn't figure it out buddy boy.

The forearm measure, is to make a point of someone who is OBVIOUSLY not up to whip your ass, but is up to, and ABLE to kill you..OK?

Yeah I guess I looked like the typical tnation moron to you, but at the time I was stoned to take a little of the "edge" of just going through that, and was typing fast with lots of silly words thrown in...sorry you weren't able to keep up with it.

Nice. What a smart response…NOT.

The OP has offered quite a bit of entertaining posts as well as bringing up some pretty good discussions. He’s sharing a situation that many if not all of us have been in, and he ultimately made the right choice in the end thinking about what he was doing. That’s a lesson in itself.
There’s my guy… thanks samurai…these guys don’t get around much I guess, for thinkin I"m a “moron”…

I can see why some of you bitches would think that I can't use the english language, but that's cause you don't know who I am. Like I said I was taking the edge of the situation off by grabbing a few tokes of cali's finest, and had the whole scene flashing in my mind as I was writing,...So, I forgive you for pre-judging me like a typical person would..The comments and help I'm after are from those guys who are smart enought to know me, and just focus on what happened instead of trying to make me sound like some kind of asswipe.

So, thanks for your infantile response about my grammar, that was a big help...lol..

Glad I finally found where this was put.
thanks again Samurai, I had pm'ed you but my pm was all messed up, so I'll try again now that it's fixed.

                respect,

So, visit America. Don’t let ungrounded fear convince you otherwise.

In the US in 1997 32,436 people died from firearm injuries. The majority (54.2%) were suicides, 41.7% were homicides, and 4.1% were unintentional shootings of indeterminate nature. Of the 13,252 homicides, the victims were disproportionately young, male and black (52% = 103.4 per 100,000 population). By way of comparison the firearm homicide rate for the population as a whole is 3.6 per 100,000 population. On the otherhand, in 1997 there were 37,374 traffic fatalities (14.66 per 100,000 population).

Unless you are young, male and black, if you are going to fear random death in the US, you should be more afraid of driving on our highways.

Even in 2001 deaths rates from both categories spank the rate from terrorism in the US, yet most people probably worry more about OBL than firearms and vehicular accidents combined. So either most people are irrational, or people assign their fear based on some considerations other than statistics and probabilities. I have my opinions, but that’s another matter…

To the OP, just remember that that kid is being a punk asshole because he knows his life is worthless and he just wants to feel good about himself for a moment. He may have had a power trip for the moment, but you’re still winning at life.
Thanks, I appreciate your input.

To the OP. It’s cool you stood up that was risky and at the end of the day worth it. I’m sure he’s still having issues with some non-gang member who punked him. It’s even better that you thought of your family and backed down. Unfortunately, incidents where you have to back down will happen more and more unless you take a proactive stance agianst them in an environment outside of the streets. That way you can still fight, but have less of a risk of backfire towards your fam.
That was well put, and I appreciate the words.

I used to fight a lot when I was younger, and that still has me hesitating to “do the right thing” and ignore people like I should sometimes, though I am improving.

The only way you “find” yourself in this position is if you go out looking for trouble. You usually find exactly what you’re looking for.

What is he, a civil rights leader? Standing up against injustice? He doesnt like the way some guy’s driving behind him so his response is to get into a staredown with the guy and ask if he’s got a problem? Idiot.
OK, you sound pretty smart, realize that I didn't take the time to put everything this clown and his gang of peers did ok? They were swerving in and out of my lane, tossed a big gulp at the car and were carrying on...

So, no I'm not an idiot. And I'm afraid it's not as simple as you try to portray it my man...believe it or not you yourself may "find" trouble through no fault of your own some day..so don't be so quick to judge me..

thanks for coming around a bit chickenmug...I hope with my answering all these comments you guys can see that I'm not the idiot you thought I was...I certainly wasn't playing "badass" at all, I've lost three very close friends to fuckheads like these guys were in the last four years and I was tired of it and lost my temper in a moment of clarity...

It got intense and I backed off…yes…I’m human, and I made a mistake of letting it go almost too far…but having seen what jerks did to three great guys who didn’t do anything to warrant the terrible actions taken on them, that weighs on me sometimes, and that’s all I can say…it was that afternoon obviously.
