Anybody have any positive or negative experiences/effects supplementing with DHEA while on TRT ?

Find out why your DHEA is low int he first place. If it was low before you went on TRT it was for a reason. Now if it dropped while on TRT then it was due to the TRT reducing the DHEA which is common.

Always suggest Dr to layer HRT, look for why they need it in the first place and when T and E2 is in check then add HCG measure the responds. if the response is too great then HCG is not for you. IF all is stable add in DHEA if you get a huge spike in e2 then it may not be the choice for you. I have been on it and off it for while and made no difference other then spiking the piss out of e2.

I might have. I got lab results back that showed low pregnenolone, DHEA-S, and high reverse T3. I started supplementing with pregnenolone, DHEA, and iodine. I guess I should have been more scientific and only introduced one new supplement at a time, but I was feeling awful and just wanted to make it stop. I do not know what made the difference, but I feel much, much better now. Changes were noticeable within a week.

Some men convert DHEA–>E2, not sure of the mechanism but I experienced it first hand.
I am a sucker for new products, and after reading the info on AndroDrive (Super-5-DHEA™ (3-beta-enanthoyloxyandrost-5-en-17-one) 204mg* - Super-5-PREG? (3-beta-enanthoyloxy-5-en-20-one) 51mg* ) by Primordial Performance specifically this:
"If you already take some form of testosterone, such as transdermal or injectable testosterone, then your body has probably stopped producing a large amount of DHEA and pregnenolone, due to a down-regulation of hormone production caused by an outside source of testosterone. (21,24)

Therefore, if you are on TRT its likely that the addition of AndroDrive will provide a significant benefit above and beyond what testosterone (or any steroid) can do on its own."

All this did was spike my E2, basically kill my boner and turned my nipples into erasers.
YMMY.

Side note to HardasNails Do you have a good TRT doc to refer to in the western NY area ?
I use a urologist, but he isn’t really with it. Please inbox me if so…Thx

My doc actually suggested DHEA before I did TRT. I think it may have helped a bit, but nothing will compare to testosterone injections. Not DHEA or gels etc…

I do know my DHEA levels were very high when he did another lab. They raise your individual levels but whether that converts to create enough T or not is the question.

But yeah some guys will get something like this (ahahahahahaha) if they take too much…
