3a. Valslide Leg Curls - 5x8-10
3b. GHR Weight Sit Ups - 5x6-8
Had to belt up tonight. I could have done better tonight in all honestly, I tried going for a 3rd double with 610lbs, but only managed a single, my body is near its limit in this block. I already am starting to get flu-like symptoms, so I know I’m at the point of overreaching. I just need to survive the next two training sessions and I’ll be home free.
Haha, thanks man. I just wanted to build some confidence after doing that last double for the day. I’m trying to keep my eye on the prize for this Friday’s Squat session, it’s going to be tough!
Bench felt awesome today. Had some voodoo band work done of my shoulders and forearms, which made a huge difference since they’ve both been feeling pretty awful since Sunday. This is the most confident I’ve ever felt with my bench in my whole training career. I’m excited to see what my bench will look like in the next block.
3a. Single Leg Work - 4x10
3b. Leg Curls - 4x8-20
4. HLR - 4x10
This session was one of those sessions where I truly test myself and really see if my training has made me stronger. Today was the first time I handled 540lbs without wraps, let alone, with that kind of volume. I was very pleased with how light it felt, I had great command today. I had a set recorded, and hopefully my training partner will post the video ASAP. I’ll post it in here as soon as I get word of it. I’m feeling pretty broken down, and looking extremely forward to this deload. I plan on going on the ice cream diet for the next week and try to put weight back on. I managed to get down to 204lbs from this Transmutation block, I’ll have to eat my face off to get back to 215-219lbs and make sure that the super-compensation kicks in.
My buddy Russ made a very cool video of the training sessions we’ve had over the summer at TPS. My 540 Squats are towards the end at the ~2:25 mark, but the whole video is awesome

That was a terrific video; it sent shivers down my spine. Song name?[/quote]
It’s called Regret Not by a local Massachusetts band named All That Remains from the album This Darkened Heart. The whole album is pretty solid; it’s one of those albums where I love every track on it. Here it is.
