I’m suprised by the silence following the two articles I posted. This is our government spying on Americans. Our government would like the telecoms, who cooperated in abusing the privacy of American citizens, to recieve retroactive immunity. Folks, I’m fine with tightening up security (finish the border fence, fix immigration), but let’s not thow away what it means to be Americans, because some terrorists would like us to.
Uhmm…you’re speaking mostly to bedwetters, who are dreadfully scared of men in caves. They’ll give up anything if Bush says it’ll make them safer.
lumpy/100 meters:
Please call the family of someone who died on 9/11. Talk to them for a while. I doubt you’d call them “bedwetters” or minimize the threat of al qaeda.

These the same folks not voting for Bush in 2004? Same folks voting for Dem senators. Same folks voting for Obama/Clinton no doubt…hence, not bedwetters (kind of the opposite—as in not too scared to believe the crap Bush tells them and voting accordingly)
You however, the classic bedwetter, a general in the making of the yellow pants brigade…

Yes I do that. I tend to type my initial out loud reaction, which when confronted with information 180 degrees from the truth is usually uhmmmm?

Anyone else on the Right as outraged as I am? I am really surprised this story hasn’t led to 3 or 4 pages of indignation.[/quote]
I am pissed but I am glad it is being addressed. I am often pissed at Federal law enforcement. These are minor issues compared to what happened in the Hoover days or compared to BATFE excesses.
