These really felt good… It was a great session! My chest (or lack thereof) was so pumped and hard as wood! 1h30 of maximal effort

Whole traps and rhomboids so sooooore… Feels so good! Also core and low back fried so it’s smart to do the pull day 2 days before the leg day…

Feeling leaner today? But I slept less though. I still did my fasted cardio and 12 K steps (I went around the neighborhood tonight ahah)

Watched this video while writing stuff… And dear God I was so pumped! I watched this and I was like, why am I not on the freaking gear?! I know I won’t be like Arnold but I’ll be bigger and stronger for sure!

I grew up without a dad so I would always be drawn to strong, charismatic males like Stallone, Willis, Arnold… When i was bullied in school I used to dream that when I’d be older I’d be a huge jacked strong man

And if I wait it’ll be too late… We only have one body

But yeah precisely! I already had gyno when I was a kid, not the best hairline in the world, and a bit of backne (but I guess it’s my fault for eating so much dairy and cheese ahah) so these would be even worse. Not to mention the toll on the organs and the lifespan…

So yeah that’s the disappointing reality ahah

But I got reminded today once again that for a regular person, I still look jacked and all. So I guess I am big enough for my business. Enough dreams like that!

83,6 kgs this morning, first time under 84 in two years. Some leg separation appearing, love handles will be soon empty. I just have to push through to get out of the “body comp dead zone”.

Here’s my preworkout, anabolic AF and sooooo delicious

I’m upload my full leg workout, so you can delve into Colossus and Mountaindog, and see if I actually train like a pussy or not :thinking:

A. Lying Leg Curl 1 x 10 + 10 partials + 30 secs iso-hold with 45 kgs

B. Squat 2 x 8 with 120 kgs

C. Hack Squat 1 x 8, 1 x 8 + max + max cluster with 20 secs rest with 110 kgs

D. Leg Press 1 x 8 + max + max + max with 5 plates, stripping 1 plate at a time

E. Cable Pull-through 2 x 12 with 45 kgs

F. Standing Calf Raises 2 x 10 + 10 partials + 10 secs stretch + max reps with 50% of weight

A bit unhappy with my second set of squats for I bent over a bit on my last rep. But to my defense, my low back, whole actually is still trashed, and the rest of the body quite sore.

But I was thinking about it, 120kgs is 78% of my 1RM and I could have done 9-10 on the first set. Not bad I’m happy! And looking at the vid (this is the first set) my form is way better than I thought. STOP STRESSING

PRs on the Hack Squat and Leg Press by a lot… but I really gave everything on the leg press, I had to grunt very fast in the reps (maybe at rep 4 lol). Complete failure on the hack squat lolz ahah

These two exercises really destroyed my quads! It felt amazing to feel them burn so much for once. The girls next to us must have thought we were completely insane with our crazy intensity :joy:

So I guess it’s good, I lose weight and get stronger lol!

Indeed! But there’s something more appealing to the eye when you dress a plate vertically rather than horizontally (yes, last year when I was doing my cardio to lean I was watching cooking shows on YouTube rofl what a torture)

No choice with this program… But yeah this session took a toll on us. Good thing the next three are easy very enjoyable 40 mins pump work!

Was very, very tired that day. So not the best session ever but that’s ok, it’s a short and easy one

So I actually went and meet the nice girl with whom I was talking. It was fun, beautiful weather, we go along nicely. But I don’t know, I didn’t feel a spark, attraction or whatever. Well she did. But I just felt awful yesterday and today disappointing a girl that really liked me.

Ugh I think indeed I’m not ready yet for this. I’m not in the mood. This closes the girl chapter for a while, I definitely don’t want to deal with the opposite sex for a while.

Very tired again, it was tough session, like I felt I was dizzy/headachy and super tired overall. Went to bed late yesterday, we played some Call of Cthulhu paper version with the mates, but I was dead tired at 9PM already.

I think I’m experiencing quite a lot of stress right now and the program is very, very demanding.

I ate 3600 cals and 3100 today. I’m feeling bad for this so I did some extra biking… For 2 days I was under 84 kgs. I know I can do it, I just have to be more consistent.

I think I have enough stress right now, I don’t need to add more or else something is going to derail. Last week at the Job I almost went straight up home because the manager was pestering me when we were doing the best job we could and we saved way more time than if she had to get here and fo it (I’m not a basic employee but grade 2, I can take initiatives…) Anyway I was so tired I was about to burst into anger very quickly.

Finances, the job, the studies, the lockdown, the training, the dieting bla bla bla

I know it’s just a bump though. It’s annoying me because there’s literally nothing I can do right now I just have to wait a month or so. But I’m so sick and tired of waiting and being passive.

Anyway, I’ll keep my ehad up and keep pushing through, I have to reach my goals! Honestly the pizza yesterday didn’t even brought me that much pelasure, I was just so tired and wanted to enjoy a moment with friends.

Boss changed once again (like every week) my hours 2 days beforehand. Ugh if there wasn’t this lockdown I would have quitted.

In France when you create your own business (which I’ll be doing when I have my degree), you can still earn your “unemployment” benefits for a year and so, as long as you don’t earn much money (well as much as your benefits). So this is good for starting business as it serves as a risk safety.

That’s it, only if you’re fired or if you do an “agreed leave” with your employer. Not if you quit. But at my job they don’t do “agreed leave”.

So I’m in a bit of a conundrum. I could just leave but I’m pretty sure I won’t earn much as a coach for a few months (maybe I’m wrong but who knows) and I have bills to pay…

I could stop showing at the job but it will still take 1-2 months to get fired, and I don’t like doing this.

Best option would be to quit and find another job for the weekend, even a Fixed-term employment contract would be perfect. But with the actual market and lockdown… It’s very hard

So these are my worries ahah (among others)

I’ll keep digging what my options are. But honestly 3 years here explain so many grey hair.

We have bad and good days, today and yesterday were bad day. But that’s okay. Honestly they weren’t this bad! Tomorrow will be brighter, let’s keep doing this, working hard towards my goals!

Got a nice shoutout by Jason Brown so that’s cool! Also a Martinique coach is paying me to help him with a training e-book, we had a zoom session today, and it was nice!

Well that’s what dating is for, you know? You find out if you are attracted to each other or not. How else are you going to find out if you like someone? Nothing to dwell on if things don’t click. There are no unspoken promises attached.
If she wasn’t right for you, be a decent mammal, thank her for the lovely day, say you didn’t feel a connection/ aren’t ready or whatever and move on. To either someone else or no one else and focus on yourself.

I think it’s wise of you to know your limits and step back to take some time for yourself. I think the break will do you good

With that said, I wouldn’t get too hung up on “the spark” There’s research that show that “the spark” isn’t required for fruitful, lasting relationships

Could you talk to your manager, explain the situation and see if they can help you out by firing you quickly? I’ve been approached to do that a few times and while its never actually been necessary yet, it would be a pretty straightforward thing to do.

Well unfortunately my Boss isn’t a good person. I know that we can have a skewed perception of our executives, but I mean, she spent Christmas alone for a reason. She’s all about the money. We had zero bonus since COVID hit. Nothing for Christmas. Not even the chocolates we used to get, which was already petty. She claims they didn’t reached their goals, they lost money with the COVID (yeah… one of the only restaurant that has been open since it hit…)

Anyway, to my knowledge, they have never agreed to this, not even for managers. They usually annoy or harass employees with shitty hours, making them do ungrateful chores or stuff like that to force them to quit.

She likes me just because I have a nice bod (yeah she’s like that…) and I smile to whatever nonsense she says. But she really doesn’t want me to leave since I am one of their best elements and the last “host” rank, meaning I do the birthdays and all.

Here’s how she’s been handling COVID: people she doesn’t like or aren’t very productive, she makes them work 2 hours per week or even zero, the rest of their hours is paid by the government because of the virus. Then, the good employees, they work a lot to compensate the lack of workforce and the lessened need for it because of the lockdown.

So yeah, I’ll see with her tomorrow but my hopes aren’t high

I would also do that, for the record. If I have a choice between a more productive colleague and a less productive colleague, the more productive colleague will get the hours every single time, all things being equal.

Putting that aside, I don’t know whats stopping you having that conversation with her. Whats the worst that can happen? Once you’ve decided that you want to be fired, she doesn’t really have any threats left.

Of course but for instance one is precisely working 2 hours per week when she has a 27 hours contract, while some do their full contract lol. I mean I totally get it. But it still is unfair and disgusts me from the corporate world.
